About Montecristo Cigar Bar

Montecristo Cigar Bar at Caesars Palace is a 4,000-square-foot lounge built for lingering over cigars, whiskey and conversation. Its large humidor can hold up to 1,000 cigars, giving enthusiasts a deep selection while staff can help less experienced guests choose a suitable smoke.

Four distinct areas—the Signature Bar, Library, Courtyard and a private dining room—let visitors select a more social or more secluded setting. Contemporary organic finishes keep the room upscale without feeling overly formal, and a high-capacity ventilation system is designed to make the smoking environment more comfortable.

Fine whiskeys are a major strength, accompanied by cocktails, other premium spirits and small bites. A 208-inch video wall and additional screens throughout the lounge make it one of the Strip’s more distinctive places to watch sports while enjoying a cigar.

Montecristo is best for guests who want the cigar ritual to be the focus rather than a side feature. The lounge remains a smoking environment despite the ventilation, so nonsmokers and smoke-sensitive visitors should select another Caesars Palace bar.

Montecristo Cigar Bar in Las Vegas offers a pleasant atmosphere, but the pricing is a significant downside. Cigars that might typically cost around $10-15 are marked up to $40-50, and drinks that are usually $10 elsewhere are priced at $30. Despite the appealing setting of the lounge, the extremely high costs make it unlikely that I will return.

The bar at Montecristo Cigar Bar in Las Vegas is nice and the service is great. However, I was disappointed in the cigar humidor experience. The attendant needs to invest in better cutters or learn how to cut a cigar based on sizing. Unfortunately, my $30 Sweet Jane cigar was ruined because the cut was too deep, and the attendant showed a lack of concern when I brought it to their attention. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

The service at Montecristo Cigar Bar in Las Vegas was exceptional. The staff exhibited a lot of patience and professionalism. While the cigars are definitely on the pricier side, it's understandable given the Las Vegas setting. A special shoutout to Steve, who is incredibly knowledgeable about their offerings and ensures you feel like a valued customer. There's a good variety of cigars available. I'll definitely be returning on my next visit.
