About Tipsy Robot at Planet Hollywood
Tipsy Robot treats automation as both bartender and entertainment. Guests use interactive tablets to choose from a large cocktail list or build a custom drink, then watch a pair of robotic arms measure, shake and pour the order in roughly theatrical fashion.
The process is highly photogenic and more about novelty than personal bartender interaction. A human-operated bar covers drinks the machines do not handle, and the Miracle Mile Shops location makes this an easy sightseeing stop rather than a full nightlife commitment.
First-time visitors will get the most from watching the robots complete an order, but guests seeking recommendations, subtle customization or an intimate cocktail lounge should choose a traditional bar.
