Denver-bred producer Nicholas Miller launched the ILLENIUM project in 2013 and broke through with the 2016 album Ashes. Awake and Ascend expanded his mix of melodic bass, vulnerable songwriting and explosive drops, while songs such as “Feel Good” with Gryffin and Daya, “Good Things Fall Apart” with Jon Bellion, “Fractures,” “Crawl Outta Love” and “Takeaway” with The Chainsmokers became anthems for a particularly devoted fan community. Fallen Embers earned a Grammy nomination and a Billboard Music Award, confirming that the emotional intensity of his work had moved far beyond the bass scene.
