What I Disliked

The toppings at Grimaldi's Pizzeria in Las Vegas are delicious and the crust strikes a perfect balance between being doughy and not too chewy. The textures of the toppings and crust complement each other well, creating a satisfying non-wood fired pizza experience. However, the sauce was a bit disappointing as it was watery and lacked flavor and seasoning. Despite this, the overall quality of the food warrants a four-star rating, with the toppings and crust carrying the meal through.

The menu is simple - pizzas, calzones, and salads. The 15 calzone was plenty large enough to two people. We had a bunch leftover. The crust was thin and done perfectly. The mix inside was delicious. The negative is the bartender did not know how to make an espresso martini. It’s even listed as a signature drink. They put salt on the rim and he was surprised when I returned it. Rather than remake they just pored it into a different glass. It still had the salt flavor. Yuk.

Grimaldi's has the best pizza I've had in Vegas, as well as one of the best waitresses I've ever met in Korena. She was so pleasant and personable, and even surprised me with a cannoli after inquiring and discovering we were celebrating my birthday. Now I'll be going back not just for the pizza, but also her infectious smile. By the way, try The Don. Delicious.

(Forgot to take pictures when the food came out so me and my Dad already ate most of the meal, sorry πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚) So my first dinner in Vegas was unfortunately pretty 'Grim' Me and my Dad went to Grimaldi's Pizzeria at the Venetian and I ordered a Calzone and my Dad ordered the spiciest pizza you could get. They offer a selection of pizzas with pre chosen toppings or you can choose a base Pizza/Calzone and add what toppings you like. This ends up being very expensive as the base Pizza/Calzone is about $15-$20 while each individual topping is like $2-$6 each, so you end up paying about $30+ for the pizza which is insane. My Dad enjoyed his pizza but thought it wasn't worth the price, however I thought the Calzone and the sauce that came with it didn't taste nice. Staff seemed friendly and the restruant looked pretty good inside but the wait time for food was long and unfortunately not worth the wait.

Stopped by Grimaldi's Pizzeria at Grand Canal Shoppes in The Venetian Resort and what an incredible find! We indulged in "The Don" – a delightful blend of Italian sausage, meatballs, and pepperoni atop their traditional pizza. The brick oven cooking gifted us with a crust that was perfectly crispy and golden. As a party of two, we found the 16" size to be just right. If you're contemplating between sizes, the 12" might leave you wanting a bit more. Highly recommend this place for anyone seeking authentic flavors and an unforgettable pizza experience in Las Vegas.
