Hank's Fine Steaks in Las Vegas offers a fantastic atmosphere and delectable cuisine. The steaks were cooked to perfection, and the braised short ribs were incredibly tender. The salmon stood out as exceptionally moist and flavorful. There was a nice variety of side options; the grilled asparagus, corn, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms were all delightful. The table-side service for the bananas foster added a wonderful touch to finish off the meal.

Hank's Fine Steaks is conveniently located inside the Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa, making it an easy choice for those nearby. The intention was to enjoy some small bites and appetizers along with happy hour drinks. With reservations in place, the seating process was swift. A business casual dress code felt appropriate for the occasion. The service was prompt, a factor that was greatly appreciated. However, the food left something to be desired, arriving not even warm. It raised the question of whether popular dishes are pre-prepared in advance. Despite this disappointment, it seemed more fitting to focus on merriment rather than raise an issue. Among the dishes, the lobster roll stood out as the most flavorful, whereas the fried shrimp fell short, bearing a strong oil taste with just a hint of lemon. The attentive waiter enhanced the experience by suggesting a delightful pear drink not listed on the menu, which was a definite highlight.

Here's a revised version of the review for Hank's Fine Steaks in Las Vegas: --- **A Memorable Evening at Hank's Fine Steaks, with Room for Improvement** **The Highlights:** The food at Hank's Fine Steaks was impressive, and the recently upgraded menu offers a wide variety of delightful options. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering new dishes and will definitely return. A special mention goes to Manager Carlo, whose warm conversation added significantly to the experience. **The Areas Needing Improvement:** Despite having a reservation right at opening, our waiter seemed to rush us unnecessarily for the first 40 minutes, even though we had planned for a leisurely two-hour meal. His repeated mention of his 20-year tenure was unnecessary, as good service should speak for itself. Unfortunately, his demeanor was less than professional, often sharp with his words and unresponsive to feedback. There was an instance where he wheeled by a cart with a massive lobster tail, making an unnecessary comment about it not appearing in our review, which felt quite unkind. Photos were taken regardless, ensuring you can see the impressive dish. Service issues continued with the server assistant. A specifically requested sangria with assorted fruit returned as a clear wine without any fruit. When queried, the assistant claimed it had been strained, and his attitude was dismissive. For dessert, I ordered the banana foster intending to capture it for this review. When mentioned, the waiter sarcastically asked for just two stars and made a comment about guests not being reviewable. The interaction underscored a sharp and condescending attitude, reminiscent of Deadpool, but without the humor. In closing, when I dine out, I appreciate good service, which I reward graciously. While understanding that everyone can have an off day, the level of service provided by this waiter was disappointing. On a positive note, Manager Carlo’s hospitality and the complimentary Best Ever Carrot Cake were standout moments of the evening. Ultimately, the food and Manager Carlo’s efforts made the visit worthwhile, but there’s a significant need for improvement in staff training to enhance the overall dining experience at Hank's Fine Steaks. ---

We visited Hank's Fine Steaks in Las Vegas for a special occasion and left thoroughly disappointed. The food quality was subpar—comparable to fast food at best. The $72 steak was particularly bad, arriving raw and cold despite being ordered medium, and the crab cakes were overly spicy. The waiter was inattentive, never checking back during the meal. The Augustine potatoes had a dirt-like taste and were unappetizing. Overall, nothing on the menu impressed us. We would never return, even if it were free. Save your money and opt for McDonald's instead.

Last week my companion and I had a fantastic celebratory dinner at Hank's Fine Steaks in Las Vegas. We sat at the bar with Melissa as our bartender/server, and she was exceptional! Melissa made me a delicious Old Fashioned drink to start and provided top-notch service with a contagious smile. We started with a split salad called Steakhouse, which was simply incredible. Our main course was a Tomahawk Steak served over grilled vegetables cooked perfectly at a "Rare+" temperature. For dessert, we indulged in the Warm Butter Toffee Cake. I highly recommend dining at Hank's Fine Steaks for any occasion and suggest sitting at the bar with Melissa as your server/bartender for an exceptional experience.

What I Disliked

Hank's Fine Steaks exudes an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere, complete with beautiful chandeliers and luxurious restroom facilities. During my visit for happy hour, I noticed that most of the bar seats were already reserved, despite arriving soon after they opened. The happy hour runs from 3:30 PM to 7 PM. The drinks were top notch and the service was impeccable. While I wasn't impressed with the calamari and broccoli due to lack of seasoning, the tuna tacos and lobster roll I ordered to go were enjoyable. I may consider returning for dinner to sample more dishes and see if my experience improves.
