During a visit to Las Vegas on July 4th, we decided to dine at Holsteins Shakes and Buns due to its convenient location at the Cosmopolitan. The food was outstanding. We ordered the Fire Bird burger with a lettuce wrap, which also includes a few strips of bacon. For the salad, we tried the Thai steak salad, which had a delightful kick to it. The steaks were tender and juicy! Unfortunately, we noticed a sign indicating that the restaurant will be closing on July 7th, just a few days away. We'll definitely miss this place.

We opted for the Fire Bird (or Cage Bird) burger, served with a lettuce wrap and a few strips of bacon. For the salad, the Thai steak salad was a fantastic choice, offering a nice kick with tender and juicy steak. Unfortunately, we noticed a sign indicating that the restaurant will close on July 7th, just three days away. This place will definitely be missed.

Visited Holsteins Shakes and Buns in Las Vegas after hearing glowing recommendations about their burgers, but left feeling let down. Tried their “Gold Standard” burger ($24) and found it to be quite underwhelming. The goat cheese was overpowering and excessively greasy. The fries ($8) were also a miss, being both over-seasoned and over-salted. Despite being very hungry and finishing the meal, I wouldn't consider returning. On a positive note, the service was excellent. The servers behind the counter were incredibly professional and attentive. Their beer selection appeared extensive, although the specific one I wanted was unavailable, so I opted for water instead.

My first visit to Holsteins Shakes and Buns was okay. The menu seemed promising but the Cajun chicken sandwich I ordered had an overpowering Cajun flavor. The chicken was tender and the sauce was good, however the side salad with house vinaigrette dressing was not amazing. The service was great though, our server was very attentive and friendly. Overall, the food was just okay and I don't think I will be returning to this place in the future.

I visited Holsteins Shakes and Buns in Las Vegas based on a recommendation for their burger, but unfortunately I found it disappointing. I ordered the "gold standard" burger for $24, but it was nothing special. The goat cheese was overwhelming and the burger dripped with grease and oil. The fries, priced at $8, were over seasoned and too salty. Despite being hungry, I wouldn't choose to return. On a positive note, the service from the women working behind the counter was exceptional. They were true professionals. Although I was impressed by their beer selection, they were out of the one I wanted so I settled for water.

In Vegas, you have to know what to expect. I'm not sure if this place is owned by a famous chef or not, but the food was decent. The salad wasn't dressed properly and only had two slices of cucumber, which was odd. The onion rings were lukewarm and didn't seem fried to order. The Thai salad was the standout dish, and the burger was enjoyable. Service was okay but not overly friendly during a slow period. The $13 draft beer I tried wasn't great, but I can't fault the restaurant for that. Overall, I wouldn't return or recommend Holsteins Shakes and Buns.
