I'm torn about my experience at the MGM Grand Buffet. While my friends enjoyed the meal, I found it lacking. I sampled a variety of dishes across three plates, but most tasted stale, as if we arrived at an off time. Despite this, the cooks and servers were exceptionally friendly. Unfortunately, the only items I truly enjoyed were the bagels and cakes, which didn't feel worth the $30+ price tag. However, if you're staying at the MGM Grand or Signature and aren't particular about your food, it's a convenient dining option.

The food at the MGM Grand Buffet is decent but not exceptional. During a late lunch visit, there was still a wide selection of breakfast items available, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast foods were well-prepared, and the hand-carved turkey stood out as particularly delicious. While the BBQ ribs had good flavor, they were slightly tough and didn’t quite meet the "fall off the bone" expectation. Desserts mostly consisted of breakfast-style breads, and the fresh fruit was excellent. The French toast was a highlight. Service was good, with guests taking responsibility for their own drinks, making a 15–18% tip appropriate. A note on logistics: the buffet is somewhat challenging to locate due to inadequate signage and is quite a distance from the Convention Center parking area. Despite these minor inconveniences, a return visit is certainly on the table.

We recently visited the MGM Grand Buffet for breakfast and had a delightful experience. The variety of food pleased our group, and as someone who enjoys both meat and vegetables, the seasoning was perfect—not too salty or bland. The chicken, ribs, and roast beef were all tender and delicious, and the seafood was fresh and flavorful. Our rating was four stars instead of five because the weekend buffet price included unlimited mimosas, which we didn't indulge in.

**Review for MGM Grand Buffet in Las Vegas** Super impressed with how accommodating the chefs were for our picky eaters. We requested chicken strips and french fries, and they kindly prepared them and brought them to our table. We opted for lunch here every day during the 115° heatwave since dining outside wasn't an option, and the air conditioning was perfect inside. The turkey at the carving station with beef gravy was absolutely amazing. The omelette station was a standout as well, letting you choose your own ingredients for freshly made omelettes. There was a good variety, with seafood that was well enjoyed and desserts, including ice cream, that were a hit with the kids. A personal favorite was the Mongolian beef with white rice. The fresh pizzas were decent, and the salad bar hidden all the way in the back had a plethora of options, including kids cereals and a tasty chicken soup. One notable drawback was the absence of pork alternatives like turkey sausage or bacon to accompany the breakfast items. The service could use improvement, specifically the attention to clearing plates from tables. Plates tended to pile up, and it seemed to be a common issue with multiple tables. At one point, we had to hand our plates over to the staff ourselves due to the lack of space. Overall, despite the service hiccup, we look forward to dining here again during our next visit to Las Vegas.

The MGM Grand Buffet was a big disappointment. It's not worth your time. I visited specifically for the crab legs, only to find out they are only available on major holidays. At $50 per person, it's overpriced. If you're looking for basic items like chicken, pizza, and mashed potatoes, you'd be better off going to Golden Corral. For a buffet in a prominent casino hotel, it falls short of expectations.

The MGM Grand Buffet in Las Vegas offers a good variety of options at a fair price. The food quality is satisfactory, although some dishes were more impressive than others.
