We were impressed by the fantastic waiter! The food was amazing; I tried the Eggs Benedict Box and the Chicken and Waffles. I'll definitely be coming back—I can't wait to try the Fruity Pebbles French Toast.

Maxie's in Las Vegas offers good food and great service. Although there was a long wait to get in, it was definitely worth it. Our group of eight enjoyed the entrees, and the portions were generous.

Maxie's is your quintessential American diner, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. During a recent visit for breakfast, there was a 20-minute wait, but they text when your table is ready, allowing you to seek shelter from the heat in nearby stores. The order included Mimosas, the Hawaiian omelet, and the breakfast burrito. The omelet was exceptional, and the breakfast burrito was spot-on. The food quality was commendable. The service was a bit slow, and the overall atmosphere felt more like a dining hall than a cozy restaurant. All in all, it's a solid choice for breakfast, and a return visit is definitely in the plans. Pro tip: If you're staying at the Horseshoe hotel, take the exit downstairs near the food court/monorail and walk across the road toward the High Roller. Maxie's is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel.

The food at Maxie's was enjoyable and the staff were welcoming. The prices were reasonable and the tables were well-maintained. It's worth noting that there is no restroom inside the restaurant, so guests must use a shared bathroom on the street. Overall, Maxie's is a good choice for those seeking a decent meal near the strip.

Maxie's in Las Vegas may not be worth the high prices for the lackluster food they serve. The menu offers nothing special and the dishes are very ordinary. You can find better options at nearby restaurants that offer better quality food for a similar price. One reviewer was disappointed with the chicken and waffle dish, noting the bland chicken and undercooked waffle. The hot honey sauce was also described as unappetizing. Overall, it might be best to explore other dining options in the area for a more satisfying meal.
