The hostesses at the entrance were pleasant and welcoming, setting a nice tone for the evening. Initially, our server seemed attentive, but his level of service diminished after we placed our order. Our order included a variety of dishes like soup dumplings, pork buns, General Tso's, and noodles. Before our visit, I had informed the restaurant about my food allergies. When the sweet pork buns were brought to the table, the server asked if I was sure about not being allergic, as they contained oyster sauce. While I appreciated the caution, it would have been more helpful to discuss potential allergens before serving the dish. Additionally, given that our reservation mentioned our anniversary, it was surprising that no dessert recommendation was offered for the occasion. As for the food, it fell short of expectations, with the flavors, portion sizes, and prices not living up to the standard. I've experienced better soup dumplings elsewhere. On a more positive note, the atmosphere was stunning — a truly beautiful setting.
