Visit WebsiteAs with most Las Vegas steakhouses, Redwood Steakhouse doesn't limit your selection to just steaks, although there is a large variety of those on offer. There's plenty of seafood as well, everything from lobster and crab legs to shrimp and scallops and even a sea bass dinner. The side dishes are large enough to be shared and you'll probably be passing them around the table for everyone to have a little nibble. And just a fair warning... Don't fill up on the main course! You'll certainly want to leave room for the desserts. How about a delectably warm apple crumble or a Big Slice of Devil's food cake? Maybe you prefer creme brulee or a fluffy slice of New York-style cheesecake. You'll find it all at Redwood Steakhouse. and there are plenty of beverages to wash down the perfect meal. Perfectly crafted cocktails, a wide variety of beers domestic, imported, crafted, and everything else you can think of. Select a wine from their large and varied wine list, something to perfectly complement your meal. The Redwood Steakhouse is a perfect way to spend an evening with friends and have a great dinner as well.

The food at Redwood Steakhouse was truly incredible. The crab cake was the best I've ever had, and the steak was cooked perfectly with delicious sides. The server suggested a fantastic red wine to pair with my meal and even brought me mints at the end. Despite being half the price of other steakhouses in the area, the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The only downside was the hostess initially trying to seat me in a less desirable location, but overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The only other small critique was the old fashioned cocktail being made with chipped ice and soda water instead of a large cube and straight bourbon.

The food here was incredible. Literally compliments to the chef who stopped by and fist bumped me. The best crab cake I’ve ever eaten. The steak was perfect, and so were the sides. Even my mom doesn’t make mashed potatoes this good! The server recommended a fantastic red wine to accompany the steak. I didn’t have room for dessert, but he brought me mints! I highly recommend this place, and it is half the price of nearby steakhouses. My only negative comment was with the hostess. She tried a couple times to sit me at a table in the bar area right next to the door to the smokey casino because I was a solo diner. I am not paying these prices for a meal to be stuck at a table like that. One more item. I know old fashioneds can be made a variety of ways, but nobody I know is looking for chipped ice and soda water filler. One big cube and straight bourbon, please.

We came to the Redwood steakhouse specifically for the prime rib, which was excellent as reviewed! The prime rib portion was the largest I've ever had, and it was perfectly cooked (medium for us!) Unfortunately, after the Sweet Maui onion soup and the gratis garlic bread, I could barely dent my Prime Rib (though I did manage to eat enough to know it's amazing!) My wife had the Miso Sea Bass which she also loved! We added the mashed potatoes and finished the meal off with shared Creme Brulee! Overall an excellent meal! The meal was made all the better by the friendly staff, especially Yul who was our server. He gave us a really great snapshot of the history of the California Hotel and Casino and it's historical ties the the Hawaiian islands!

Wonderful place tucked away for big portions and good food for around $100 per person. Main meat courses are a la carte but side dishes are big enough to share. Bread was ok.. Onion soup was delicious. Oysters were fresh. Asparagus could have used some seasoning. Ribeye was cooked medium rare to our taste. Prime rib was off menu but a special and definitely worth it! Prime rib is definitely enough for two to share as well.

Surprised by great food, service and atmosphere. Didn't expect this at the California Hotel. Thought is was a vacation spot for Hawaiians because of less expensive packages. Chef's dishes were one of a kind. Quality of meats excellent. Had the pork chops from specially grown pigs. So tender and delicious. I had quit ordering pork chops at any restaurant as they're not tender enough. My nephew's scallops were perfectly prepared as he likes them cooked just slightly over rare. I heartily recommend Redwood Steakhouse for visiting family and friends.
