The orange chicken brings to mind Panda Express, delivering a familiar taste. On the other hand, the Singapore noodles fall short in excitement, missing vibrant green onions, peppers, and a punch of flavor. As for the service, be cautious—the cashier may place your cups before you with an unexpected toss. It's worth a visit, but not enough to earn a repeat.

The orange chicken is quite similar to what you'd find at Panda Express. The Singapore noodles fall short, missing the pizzazz you'd expect, with subtle hints of green onion and peppers and an overall lack of flavor. As for the service, be cautious. The cashier may hand over cups in a manner that feels like a delicate toss in your direction. It's worth a visit, but probably not a repeat.

What I Disliked
The service left much to be desired. The food lacked flavor and was quite bland. The rice was plain, and the Mongolian Beef wasn't served hot. Even after adding their so-called "hottest sauce," it still didn't register as warm. The prices were extremely high, making it not worth the cost. Visiting Panda Express would have been a more affordable and tastier option.

WuHu Noodle inside the Silverton Casino is a convenient spot for a bite. It's straightforward—just solid food without the frills. The Kung Pao Shrimp I had could use more flavor and was heavy on bell peppers and onions. On the other hand, the orange chicken was a hit. There was a $3 service charge on the receipt, which seems to cover the tip since no servers attend to you directly—you'll need to handle your own drinks and utensils.

I generally approach new Chinese-inspired restaurants with tempered expectations, given the sheer number of them in this city (and the country). Standing out can be quite the task. My family first dined at WuHu Noodle a few years back, leading to a follow-up visit, which was favorably received. Although I didn't plan on revisiting due to the multitude of dining options available in the city, a third visit on April 20, 2024, confirmed the restaurant's consistent quality. During the latest visit, we ordered an extensive array of dishes to truly evaluate their offerings. Standouts included the Chicken Lettuce Cups, Pork Belly Folded (Steam) Buns, Asian Chicken Wings, Potstickers, Green Bean Beef, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. While everything impressed, the Green Bean Beef's flavor profile was on point, but the beef itself was overcooked. Notably, despite usually favoring Korean and Japanese Potstickers, WuHu's version is exceptional. From previous visits, I've also enjoyed the Wonton Soup, Crab Rangoon, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken, with the exception of the Mongolian Beef, which was overly salty. It’s interesting as beef entrées typically shine at Chinese restaurants, but WuHu's beef dishes haven't quite hit the mark for me, going two-for-two in terms of disappointment. The service here is remarkably swift, a bonus given the frequent sight of several groups queued up for orders or tables waiting for their meals. Prices lean towards the higher end for a fast-casual setting but are somewhat justified by the quality and speed of service. One downside is its proximity to the casino floor, allowing cigarette smoke to infiltrate the dining area—a common challenge in casino dining. Despite this, I find myself returning when in the vicinity, and I still recommend WuHu Noodle to everyone.

I don't usually have high expectations when trying new Chinese-inspired restaurants, as there are many to choose from in the area. However, WuHu Noodle pleasantly surprised me during my first visit a few years ago and has remained consistent ever since. During my most recent visit in April 2024, my party and I ordered a variety of dishes including Chicken Lettuce Cups, Pork Belly Folded Buns, Asian Chicken Wings, Potstickers, Green Bean Beef, and Sweet and Sour Chicken. While all the dishes were delicious, the Green Bean Beef was a bit overcooked for my taste. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the Potstickers even though I typically prefer Korean or Japanese styles. In previous visits, I have also tried the Wonton Soup, Crab Rangoon, Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken, all of which were excellent with the exception of the Mongolian Beef being a bit too salty. The service at WuHu Noodle is quick and efficient, despite the restaurant often being busy. Prices are slightly higher for a fast casual restaurant, but the quality of the food and service make it worth it. The only downside for me is the proximity to the casino floor, which can result in exposure to cigarette smoke. Overall, I still recommend WuHu Noodle to everyone and enjoy coming here when in the area.
