The manager made multiple rounds, checking in with every table. Our brunch reservation was promptly honored upon check-in. We began with cocktails: the Watermelon Sling and a Peach Mimosa. The Sling stands out as one of the best cocktails I've ever experienced—perfectly balanced and incredibly refreshing. For appetizers, we opted for the Fried Green Tomato BLT and paired it with the Chicken & Waffles for the main course. The fried green tomatoes, complemented by succulent pork belly, were outstanding. The chicken, brined for 27 hours, was juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The waffles were delightful, and the spicy watermelon accompaniment added just the right kick. Our server, Fernando, was fantastic, providing excellent recommendations and helpful clarifications. He even took a moment to chat with us towards the end of our meal. Discovering that we were celebrating an anniversary, he surprised us with a complimentary Fried Oreo dessert, which was a lovely gesture. This establishment comes highly recommended.

Our server was delightful, and the decor added to the warm, inviting atmosphere. Best of all, the food was absolutely delicious. Those fingerling potatoes and fried chicken are still on my mind.

I decided to try the chicken and waffles, deviled eggs, and macaroni and cheese. While the presentation was nice, the taste of the food fell short. It was quite bland. The drinks were also watered down, which was disappointing. Additionally, I didn't like the seating arrangement as we were separated from our group. Overall, the experience was not enjoyable.

The service was attentive and they were able to accommodate my food requirements, even substituting some items on the preset menu. Although I wasn't a fan of the dessert, the buttermilk biscuits were absolutely epic. It's worth noting that the lobster mac n cheese was listed as Market Price and was priced at $88 during my visit. The restaurant was quite popular and busy, so I recommend making a reservation to ensure you get a good table.
