For our initial dinner in Las Vegas, we chose Zuma and it exceeded all expectations. The atmosphere was exceptional and the service was top-notch, with our server making a particularly strong impression. We opted for the seasonal omakase, which did not disappoint. The "burning history" cocktail was a memorable and delightful treat. The staff displayed extensive knowledge and warmth throughout our visit. Although not shown, the A5 strip and wagyu short rib wontons included in the omakase were outstanding. Highly recommended, and a return visit is definitely in the cards.

Zuma in Las Vegas stands out as the finest Japanese restaurant we've encountered, and we've experienced many. The restaurant boasts a cool, contemporary vibe with exceptional service, and the food is simply extraordinary. We believed we had seen it all in Japanese cuisine until our dinner at Zuma proved otherwise. It was a fantastic experience, and now it's among our top three favorite restaurants in Vegas.

Celebrated a special occasion at Zuma, and it did not disappoint. Located on the 3rd floor of the Boulevard Tower at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. Opted for the chef’s tasting menu, and every dish was both amazing and well-presented, leaving us quite full—perhaps one course too many. Photos of each course are attached. The service was excellent and the atmosphere lively; the place was bustling all the way until closing time. While it is on the pricier side, it's highly recommended for those who enjoy sushi and a luxurious night out.

The grilled Chilean sea bass was definitely the star of the meal, with a sauce that was absolutely delightful! However, the skirt steak didn’t quite hit the mark—it appeared undercooked and leaned more towards rare, which wasn't ideal. The rock shrimp tempura also fell short, as the flavors were too subtle for my liking. All in all, it was a decent meal, but not something that would draw me back in the future.

What I Disliked

My experience at Zuma in Las Vegas was on a weekday evening without a reservation. Fortunately, we were able to secure a spot at the bar where we could witness the chefs in action. Although the service was not consistently top-notch, the food itself was exceptional. Each dish, from the appetizers to the main courses, was a true work of art. However, it is worth noting that the prices are on the higher end.
