Beach Bar & Grill

During our stay at Mandalay Bay, my family and I decided to explore the pool and beach area. When we got hungry, my partner and I visited Beach Bar and Grill to grab some food, initially unsure if children were allowed. We ordered at the bar but soon realized kids were indeed welcome, so we requested a table and our kids joined us. We ordered additional food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, spending an extra $200 at the table. However, when we brought the platters we'd previously ordered at the bar to our table, the hostess, a woman with short blonde hair, approached us aggressively and stated, "Oh nah, to-go food ain't allowed at my table." I apologized, explaining it was our first time there, and she responded by saying she should tell us to leave but would let it slide this time. The manner in which the staff spoke to us was shocking and completely inappropriate, especially given the amount we spent. To avoid ruining my children's experience, I refrained from escalating the situation, but the level of service we received was disappointing and not what one would expect, considering the cost. It left such a negative impression that I wouldn't recommend dining here. On a positive note, the bartenders were very nice.

Very good place to come and enjoy lunch or breakfast after a day at the beach/pool area. We came here for lunch and the service was fast and the waiters were very nice. The bar drinks were fine and the food was small but good. The prices were a tad expensive. There is no weight and feel free to wear your bathing suit and a cover-up if you want. I suggest getting the taquito trio chicken tenders beach club salad and buffalo chicken dip. Overall good place will be back! 🏖

Definately get the gazebo. You get drinks, your floats included, service was wonderful. Live that they give a military discount if asked for (with id). Nice pools soft sand, which food menu was larger though.

Cabana by the lazy river is the place to be at this awesome beach/pool. The spinach and artichoke dip is pretty tasty, as are the onion rings. Word to the wise, get a top shelf liquor in your drink as the house liquor does not taste too great. Mandalay pool and beach is always on my list of stops everytime I come to Vegas...a great way to spend a day recharging.

Good location - captive audience. Unfortunately that means that service is slow - took three separate people at my table to place my order. Probably the most overcooked chicken I have ever had in the focaccia sandwich. Mediocre. Not sure why it needs melted cheese on the bread as well as in the sandwich....perhaps a great way to hide the quality of the chicken? Poor, mushy industrial-vat made guacamole. It’s a beach bar, in a hotel, so don’t expect a food sensation. Some TLC with the food prep would improve it immensely.

Ordered food for here. Came out to-go, no apology, just blank stares, had to eat out of the boxes.
