About Bouchon at The Venetian

Bouchon occupies the 10th floor of The Venetian's South Tower (formerly Venezia), away from the busiest casino walkways. The setting recreates a grand French bistro with mosaic floors, brass details, a lively bar, and a leafy outdoor terrace that can feel surprisingly removed from the Strip. Reaching it requires following signs toward the South Tower rather than looking on Restaurant Row.

Chef Thomas Keller's menu emphasizes well-executed bistro standards such as chilled oysters and shellfish, French onion soup, steak frites, roast chicken, croque madame, and seasonal seafood. Weekend brunch is a major draw, combining egg dishes and pastries with Bouchon's richer lunch fare. The bakery program, wine list, and careful service help justify spending more time here than at a conventional resort cafe.

Bouchon is best for couples, celebratory brunches, and diners who appreciate classic French technique without the structure of a tasting menu. It is upscale and relatively expensive, but less formal than Keller's most ambitious restaurants. Reserve ahead for dinner or weekend brunch and request the terrace when the weather suits outdoor dining.

Make sure you are reserving the bistro, not looking for a pastry-counter visit. Bouchon’s sit-down brunch and dinner call for a different plan from picking up baked goods elsewhere in the resort. Compare the menu for your chosen meal period: a dish associated with weekend brunch should not be assumed to appear at dinner.

The Venetian currently uses South Tower terminology for the tower associated with Bouchon, while older directions often say Venezia. Confirm the route with the resort before setting out, particularly if you are coming from Palazzo or have accessibility needs. Request a patio table if it matters to your visit, but treat it as a request rather than a guaranteed seating assignment. Allow time for the internal route back to a show or your pickup point.

First visit, and I'm already planning my return. The staff is warm and engaging, striking the perfect balance between friendly and informative without overstepping. We opted for seats at the bar as the restaurant was bustling, and we were early for our reservation. They thoughtfully provide a cloth napkin and arrange everything so it feels just like dining at a table. The food was remarkable—delicious and refined yet wonderfully comforting. Exploring the full menu is a must, making this place a permanent choice for dining.

My recent visit to Bouchon in Las Vegas was nothing short of a culinary disaster, leaving me with an overwhelmingly negative impression of this supposedly upscale establishment. As a fan of Thomas Keller's renowned culinary expertise, I expected a dining experience that reflected his commitment to quality. Unfortunately, Bouchon failed to live up to even the most basic standards. Our evening began with a selection of appetizers that promised to tantalize the taste buds. The Rillettes aux deux Saumons, Pommes Frites with truffles, and Escargots de Bourgogne were fine. The true low point of the evening, however, was the Moules au Safran my wife ordered for her main course. Despite the dish initially appearing satisfactory, it led to a nightmarish aftermath. Shortly after leaving the restaurant, my wife fell victim to severe food poisoning. It's utterly unacceptable that a restaurant of this supposed caliber, bearing the name of a culinary icon like Thomas Keller, could fail so miserably in quality control. The consequences were not just unpleasant but downright tragic, as my wife missed a long-awaited experience at The Sphere to see U2, a trip that we have been planning for months. Even my choice of the TAK Room Cheeseburger, which was acceptable, did little to salvage the overall dismal experience. The fact that a restaurant associated with Thomas Keller could let such a serious lapse in food safety occur is inexcusable. In conclusion, I cannot emphasize enough how Bouchon at Las Vegas fell far short of the expectations set by its esteemed name. From good appetizers to a severe case of food poisoning, this dining experience was an unmitigated disaster. I strongly advise against risking your health and satisfaction at Bouchon and recommend exploring alternative dining options in Las Vegas.

Located inside the Venetian, Bouchon offers delicious French cuisine that stands out among the restaurants on the strip in Las Vegas. The dishes were well-prepared and the portions were generous. Even for those who aren't typically fans of French cuisine, the food here rivals some of the best restaurants in Paris. Despite the price, the dining experience was worth it. The service was exceptional, reaching the standards of a Michelin starred restaurant. Overall, the food, drinks, and ambiance were all enjoyable. Whether you're on a date or out with a group, Bouchon is the ideal spot to celebrate.
