While the facility is undergoing renovations, it doesn't seem to include improvements to the restaurant area, which still feels like a set from a '70s steakhouse movie. The Caesar salad stood out with just the right amount of flavor, but the "1962" cocktail was disappointingly weak, essentially a heavily diluted Old Fashioned. As for the ribs, they initially tasted excellent until I discovered three hairs in my meal. My wife speculated they might be animal hairs, while the waitress suggested they were from a sauce brush. Despite the explanations, the presence of hair completely spoiled the dining experience. Meals should never contain hair, regardless of its origin!

Ellis Island BBQ in Las Vegas is definitely one of the top spots for BBQ enthusiasts. The food is served promptly, especially if you're ordering from the BBQ menu. Located right in the middle of the casino and close to other lively venues featuring karaoke and contests, the atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, though it can get a bit noisy at times. The BBQ sauce is flavorful and offered on the side, while the garlic bread comes perfectly toasted without being too hard. The service is delightful and attentive, with servers consistently refilling drinks. It's important to note that checks cannot be split here, so it's one check per table. The prices on the BBQ menu are quite reasonable considering the generous portion sizes. Highly recommend checking it out.

Excellent experience! There was a 25-minute wait at 7 PM on a Tuesday, so making a reservation is recommended. The staff lets you know the wait time, allowing you to enjoy the casino until your table is ready with a convenient text alert. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, and the service was prompt. The waitress was both friendly and attentive. Five stars.

Ellis Island BBQ in Las Vegas is a fantastic and budget-friendly spot near the Strip. One of the highlights is their half rack of ribs and half BBQ chicken combo, priced at just $20. If you're playing in the casino, it goes down to an impressive $15. The ribs and chicken are delicious, served with bread, corn, and coleslaw. The portion size is generous, and the flavors are outstanding. The meat practically falls off the bone, and the BBQ sauce adds an amazing touch. The customer service is top-notch, with friendly staff making the experience even better. Be aware that the restaurant is located inside the casino in a separate room, so you might catch a bit of smoke smell and experience the lively casino atmosphere. Despite that, it's a safe and vibrant place, though it can be a bit noisy due to the casino buzz. All in all, Ellis Island BBQ is one of the best places to enjoy an affordable and scrumptious meal in Las Vegas, offering some of the finest BBQ in town. ❤️❤️❤️👍👍👍
