Hank's Fine Steaks & Martinis

I had a fantastic time at Hank's Fine Steaks with my colleagues. I arrived an hour early to soak in the atmosphere and overhear some interesting conversations. The restaurant had a mature crowd, with me being one of the younger ones present. Thank you to the staff for their excellent hospitality.

Last week my companion and I had a fantastic celebratory dinner at Hank's Fine Steaks in Las Vegas. We sat at the bar with Melissa as our bartender/server, and she was exceptional! Melissa made me a delicious Old Fashioned drink to start and provided top-notch service with a contagious smile. We started with a split salad called Steakhouse, which was simply incredible. Our main course was a Tomahawk Steak served over grilled vegetables cooked perfectly at a "Rare+" temperature. For dessert, we indulged in the Warm Butter Toffee Cake. I highly recommend dining at Hank's Fine Steaks for any occasion and suggest sitting at the bar with Melissa as your server/bartender for an exceptional experience.

A Memorable Evening at Hank's Fine Steaks, with Room for Improvement The Highlights: The food at Hank's Fine Steaks was impressive, and the recently upgraded menu offers a wide variety of delightful options. I thoroughly enjoyed discovering new dishes and will definitely return. A special mention goes to Manager Carlo, whose warm conversation added significantly to the experience. The Areas Needing Improvement: Despite having a reservation right at opening, our waiter seemed to rush us unnecessarily for the first 40 minutes, even though we had planned for a leisurely two-hour meal. His repeated mention of his 20-year tenure was unnecessary, as good service should speak for itself. Unfortunately, his demeanor was less than professional, often sharp with his words and unresponsive to feedback. There was an instance where he wheeled by a cart with a massive lobster tail, making an unnecessary comment about it not appearing in our review, which felt quite unkind. Photos were taken regardless, ensuring you can see the impressive dish. Service issues continued with the server assistant. A specifically requested sangria with assorted fruit returned as a clear wine without any fruit. When queried, the assistant claimed it had been strained, and his attitude was dismissive. For dessert, I ordered the banana foster intending to capture it for this review. When mentioned, the waiter sarcastically asked for just two stars and made a comment about guests not being reviewable. The interaction underscored a sharp and condescending attitude, reminiscent of Deadpool, but without the humor. In closing, when I dine out, I appreciate good service, which I reward graciously. While understanding that everyone can have an off day, the level of service provided by this waiter was disappointing. On a positive note, Manager Carlo’s hospitality and the complimentary Best Ever Carrot Cake were standout moments of the evening. Ultimately, the food and Manager Carlo’s efforts made the visit worthwhile, but there’s a significant need for improvement in staff training to enhance the overall dining experience at Hank's Fine Steaks.

Hank’s atmosphere is very elegant and fancy. I loved all of the chandeliers that they have and the bathroom is probably one of the nicest I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Came for happy hour, and noticed that most of the bar seats were reserved. We got there just after they opened too. FYI the happy hour is from 3:30 PM to 7 PM. The drinks are good and the service was better. I was not a fan of the calamari and the broccoli, they both needed more seasoning. The tuna tacos were good and I ordered the lobster roll to go and I enjoyed that as well. I’m willing to come back here for dinner to see if the other food items are any better because I wasn’t really impressed.

My experience at Hank's Fine Steaks was extremely disappointing. The food was subpar and overpriced. The $72 steak was undercooked and cold, while the crab cakes were overly spicy. The server was inattentive and never checked on us. The side dish of Augustine potatoes was unappetizing and tasted bad. Overall, I would not recommend dining here and suggest saving your money by going elsewhere for a better meal.

Hank's Fine Steaks provides a top-notch steakhouse experience. The wet aged steaks and variety of wagyu options are sure to please any meat lover. The tater tots resemble small croquettes and are delicious. The baked potato served is massive. While the wines by the glass may be on the pricey side, they are of high quality and to be expected at a Las Vegas steakhouse. I highly recommend Hank's Fine Steaks for anyone looking for an upscale steak dining experience.

Fantastic dining, service and experience & wonderful atmosphere. The food was delightful, prepared well with excellent menu options. Prime cuts of meats with an assortment of options and compliments. The waiting staff was attentive, friendly and professional. Overall a great experience and worth the choice.

Was pleased there were vegan options so I could take my wife for a nice steak. Hearts of palm salad was amazing. The cauliflower steak was awesome one of my favorites. The potatoes were very very aggressively seasoned to where I couldn't eat many of them. Would go again but say easy on the salt...

We came here for dinner for the first time tonight & cannot say enough about how good the food & service was. The Wagyu steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster-incredible. We had their asparagus & Macaroni & cheese which were both amazing! Their Caesar salad was fresh & so good. They have really good dirty martinis as well.

We decided to stay local and go to Hanks for our anniversary. We made reservations for a wed and glad we did because even for a wed it was pretty crowded. We arrived a bit early and this is where the missing 5th star comes from. We approached the hostess and stood there for 7 mins while the hostess talked story with a customer looking at pics or something on his phone. This was obviously just small talk and what not so if you just took a second to acknowledge us that would've been great, but instead the second hostess had to come over and greet us after she sat people. We were seated at exactly the time of our reservation which was great and the second hostess was very nice and helpful. Once we were seated everything was great, the servers were attentive, the food all came out on time and the food was outstanding. The steaks were perfect, the lobster was delicious and all the drinks were just right. Overall it was a great experience and we would most certainly return.

Knowledgeable staff, friendly service, and a well prepared meal. We were a party of 8, our server took the time to talk through the menu and made excellent wine pairing recommendations. They talked through several specials for the day and made sure any questions were answered. Food quality was excellent and the Surf and Turf special was a hit and appropriately priced (we ordered two). Highly recommended.

Visiting Hank's is an absolute must if you're ever in Henderson. I've been here multiple times and it never fails to impress! It's the top Steakhouse in the area and makes a great spot to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere is very nice, and it helps that it's super close to the craps tables! I highly recommend it; you'll love it!

I have dined at Hanks in nearly 100 times over the years. I am sad to have to write a 2-star review. First off, the front hostess area was 5-star as always. They greeted you and made you feel welcome. The waiters and staff were also 5-star as always. What has dramatically deteriorated is the food, and the prices for less quality. The shrimp cocktail used to be the best in town. Very large, firm, fresh and dry. Now they are the same size as everywhere else. They were wet, nearly slimy, and very common. My medium steak was barely warm. It seemed that it was cooked a while ago and sat while other items were prepared for the table. Prices have increased 3 times on some of my favorite menu choices and quality has dropped.
