About LAVO Italian Restaurant

LAVO moves easily between restaurant and lounge. Mediterranean-inspired design, a broad bar and an outdoor terrace overlooking Las Vegas Boulevard create a setting that works for a date, a group dinner or drinks without entering a nightclub. The room is glamorous and animated, but regular dinner service remains centered on food and conversation.

The bar serves handcrafted cocktails alongside wine and celebratory bottles, while the kitchen is known for generous Italian-American dishes such as its signature meatball, pasta and shareable plates. Guests who want the lounge experience can sit near the bar; those prioritizing Strip views should request the terrace when weather and seating allow.

LAVO’s seasonal Party Brunch is a distinctly different experience from an ordinary meal. DJs, dancing, bottle presentations and a high-energy crowd take over the dining room and terrace, making reservations and event-specific planning important. Visitors seeking a quiet brunch should distinguish that ticketed party format from LAVO’s other dining experiences.

The restaurant is in The Palazzo tower of The Venetian complex. Use Palazzo-side directions when navigating the resort, as the combined property and neighboring Grand Canal Shoppes cover a considerable area.

We were relieved to have made a reservation, as both the restaurant and bar area were buzzing with activity. A small queue had formed at the hostess stand by the time we reached there for our 6:45 PM dinner. Our server, who amusingly shared the name Alex with another staff member, was exceptional. Friendly and attentive without hovering, he expertly managed a very busy section, embodying what you'd want in a top-notch server on The Strip. The food? Absolutely delicious. Be ready, though—complimentary focaccia bread is served after you've ordered your appetizers, and it's irresistible. You'll find yourself indulging in it long before your main courses hit the table! The vibrant atmosphere was filled with people celebrating special occasions, couples enjoying romantic evenings, and what seemed like a few locals dotted around. A big thank you for a delightful dining experience!

Been here a few times during our Las Vegas trips. Since the group I normally go with is fine with any food is the only reason we go here, because for me as a vegetarian with a specific dietary requirement I can't have much apart from a pizza or/and maybe fries which is also average considering the price. Atmosphere is good. Service is okay. It is located within The Venetian. There is inside and outside sitting options. Outside sitting has a view of the strip.

LAVO Restaurant in Las Vegas is an absolute must for brunch. This was by far the best brunch we have had in more than a dozen visits to Vegas and we will definitely be returning in the future. The food selection, including gluten free options, was delicious. We also opted for the unlimited drinks for two hours, which were just as tasty. A tip we received to start with the menu from the top down was very helpful as everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and served as intended (hot/cold). The oysters, salmon ceviche, tuna tartare, pasta, and salad were all delicious. The mini plate of pastries to start was also excellent, although not gluten friendly. Our server was attentive, friendly, and made great suggestions. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is classy, clean, and has a great vibe. We will definitely be returning to LAVO in the future.
