About Lucky Penny at Red Rock

Lucky Penny is inside Red Rock Resort in Summerlin and is the property's flexible, always-open dining option. Its casual room and patio suit families, solo diners and casino guests who need a meal outside conventional restaurant hours. It is easy to use for breakfast before a day at Red Rock Canyon or food after a late night.

The broad menu ranges from eggs and pancakes to sandwiches, burgers, pizza and prime rib, with dedicated late-night offers at certain hours. The kitchen aims for dependable café fare rather than culinary spectacle. Choose it for convenience, variety and around-the-clock service, especially when the resort's specialty restaurants are closed.

An open dining room does not mean every menu item is served around the clock. The published menu gives some dishes their own serving window, including Penny Benny, and separates the main and late-night menus. Check the current menu if you are coming for a particular breakfast dish after an evening show. Advertised specials also carry eligibility and holiday or special-event exclusions; compare the regular-menu price rather than assuming every diner qualifies. For parties of ten or more, contact the restaurant about arrangements before arriving.

Tried out the cheeseburger special at Lucky Penny for just $5.99 with family, and you really can't beat that price! The cheeseburger was generously sized, tasted great, and arrived hot, just like the fries. On the downside, the service was quite slow; it took around 30 minutes to receive four burgers, despite not requesting any customizations. The place was full, but there was no wait outside; it seemed everyone was just waiting for their food. They also ran out of mayonnaise by 6:30 PM on a Friday. Overall, service was adequate.

The Penny burger at Lucky Penny is delicious and reminiscent of a Fat Burger, complete with shredded lettuce, slim onions, and a juicy steak burger on a golden, round bun. The fries on the side are crispy and not overly salty, and come with plenty of ketchup and dill pickles. I would definitely recommend trying this dish. For dessert lovers, there is a tempting display of baked goods near the cashier that is definitely worth checking out.

I frequent Lucky Penny at Red Rock, especially since I play poker there regularly. Recently, I enjoyed the Salmon Dinner, which comes with crispy Brussels sprouts and sweet potato puree. It's definitely one of their top dinner choices, along with the Brick Chicken. The salmon is consistently moist, flaky, and perfectly seasoned—never overcooked. Other noteworthy dishes include the clam chowder and calamari fries. For breakfast, the Chilaquiles and egg white enchiladas are standout options. The omelets are also excellent. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food. Plus, if you have a players card and are 50 or older, you can get 50% off your total bill by using your points.
