About Nobu Las Vegas at Virgin Hotel

Nobu is primarily a destination restaurant, but its lounge gives visitors a comfortable way to experience the brand without committing to a full multi-course dinner. The room carries the restaurant's sleek, contemporary style, and the mood is sophisticated without feeling like a nightclub. It works especially well for a pre-dinner cocktail, a date-night drink or a quieter start to an evening near the Strip.

The beverage program complements Nobu's Japanese-Peruvian menu with sake, Japanese whisky, wine and carefully built cocktails. Guests who want to eat at the bar can pair drinks with sushi, sashimi and signature dishes, making this a food-led nightlife stop rather than a place centered on dancing or late-night entertainment.

Our dining adventure at Nobu, located within Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, was nothing short of extraordinary! The welcoming and attentive service set the tone as soon as we entered, and each dish—be it the exquisite seafood, the flawlessly cooked meats, or the artistically presented desserts—was a testament to culinary artistry. We were all captivated by the amazing flavors, diverse textures, and meticulous attention to detail. Each taste was a festive experience. The dishes were visually stunning, crafted with fresh, premium ingredients, and the atmosphere struck the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.

Nobu in Las Vegas is not the best choice for a romantic evening. The service leaves much to be desired, with servers appearing disorganized and inattentive. Dishes were brought out in the wrong order, some were forgotten altogether, and there were discrepancies on the bill. I felt like I was overcharged for items that were never served. The food quality was lacking and the prices were on the higher side. Overall, it was a disappointing dining experience.

Arrived at Nobu in Las Vegas at 6pm with the intention of trying their LV omakase, only to find out they no longer offer it. Instead, they have a $225 per person omakase option, which I ultimately decided to go with after browsing the happy hour menu. I'm glad I did because it was a fantastic choice. Be sure to set aside a few hours to fully enjoy the experience. Once you've chosen the omakase, the staff may ask if you'd prefer to sit at the sushi bar or at a more comfortable table of your choosing. You'll be introduced to the sushi chefs and the culinary journey begins. The degustation experience was incredible. Each dish, from the first to the last dessert, was delicious and expertly paired to complement the overall experience. Standouts for me included the hokkaido scallops, the uni on tofu skin, and the raw octopus, which had a unique taste and texture compared to the usual preboiled octopus. Needless to say, I left the restaurant feeling very satisfied - so much so that I could barely finish the tiramisu dessert. Almost...
