About Nomikai

Nomikai is on Restaurant Row at The Venetian and is intentionally split into two experiences. The visible front counter works for hand rolls, poke and sake when time is short; a hallway leads to a darker, more intimate speakeasy with full-service sushi and a much stronger nightlife mood.

The menu covers nigiri, sashimi and rolls, while the back room adds Japanese whisky, sake and carefully built cocktails. It is a good fit for dates and small groups who want dinner to flow into drinks without changing venues, and late hours on weekends make it useful after a show.

Choose the counter for convenience and the hidden room for atmosphere. Prices rise quickly in the speakeasy once premium fish and cocktails are involved, so visitors looking only for a fast roll should not feel compelled to turn the stop into a full evening.
