About The Angry Butcher Steakhouse

The Angry Butcher is inside Sam's Town on Boulder Highway, with patio-style seating facing Mystic Falls Park. That indoor atrium setting is the restaurant's strongest feature and can pair dinner with the resort's scheduled light-and-water show.

Steaks, prime rib, seafood and classic sides form an approachable neighborhood-casino steakhouse menu. The restaurant is less formal and generally less expensive than luxury Strip chophouses, making it useful for families and visitors who want a comfortable steak dinner.

Request a table facing Mystic Falls if the view matters, though seating is not guaranteed. This is best for Sam's Town guests and east-valley diners rather than visitors crossing town solely for a high-end steak experience.

Located in the Sam’s Town Casino Hotel, The Angry Butcher is a commendable steakhouse offering great value. While some minor details could use improvement—like the store-bought-tasting rolls and overly smooth mashed potatoes—the main dishes excel. The Prime Rib and ribeye steaks rival those of higher-end establishments, while the lump crab cocktail and French onion soup are standouts. The freshly made creamed spinach is notable, and the chocolate layer cake a la mode delivers satisfaction. Service is professional, making The Angry Butcher a worthwhile stop, especially at this price point, even if it may not be suited for a special occasion.

Always a good meal here and friendly service. I've been here many times and it's consistently good. For a casino restaurant it is quite good. Typical steakhouse fare, entrees nicely seasoned and usually cooked as ordered. The asparagus is always tender, juicy, sweet and flavorful no matter the time of year.

The Angry Butcher is absolutely luxurious and perfect. Out of all the steak houses we've tried recently, this one had the best steaks, side dishes, and sauces. If you want to experience food heaven, this is the restaurant to visit. Highly recommended! 👌👌❤️
