The Front Yard

Nestled just off the bustling Las Vegas Strip, this delightful spot is connected to the beloved Ellis Island Casino. This adaptable patio eatery has quickly become my top choice for catching up with friends heading to the airport or spending quality time with family during the holidays. Everything we sampled was exceptional and surprisingly affordable, costing only half of what you'd typically pay at a casino on the Strip. The casino itself is generous enough that I covered my meal expenses after a little playtime. I'm truly captivated by this town!

Dining at The Front Yard Restaurant was an absolute delight! The food was expertly prepared, each dish bursting with flavor and creativity. Great breakfast/brunch spot when you're tired of paying "Vegas Strip" prices. We visited on a Saturday mid-morning, the football was on a DJ was playing (so it was a bit loud, but acceptable). Good vibe. Food was very good. Caveman Skillet, Flatbread, biscuits and gravy, Burrito. All 4 we rate strongly. Spicy Mary drink was an excellent addition. Take the short walk off the strip, it's worth it.

This place rocks! Everything from the service to the food/beer to the ambience is great. Super filling appetizer. Meatballs drenched in an awesome marinara sauce, with melted mozzarella. Two pieces of delicious bread. Had to grab some wings, too. Ellis Island is yet another example of Vegas' growth as a great craft beer town. Had three hefes, and a lager, both good. Best hefe I've had in a while. I need to start asking for/remembering the server's name. She deserves a biiig shout out. Attentive but not pushy. Let me enjoy the vibe of the place. Grabbed 5 brews to go. Best part, while it's only a 7 minute walk from the strip, you won't encounter strip prices. I was in and out for under 50 bucks.

The Front Yard in Las Vegas is a great place to enjoy a pint and some delicious food without breaking the bank on the strip. The food was tasty, especially the bacon which was amazing. I also enjoyed the live music during lunch, it was a nice touch. I will definitely be returning on my next trip to Vegas. I had a fantastic experience at The Front Yard in Las Vegas. Despite not having high expectations for Ellis Island Hotel's dining options, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food here. My visit on a Saturday morning was filled with a fun atmosphere, thanks to the live DJ and delicious food and drinks. The service was fast and efficient, ensuring that our glasses were never empty. It's safe to say that The Front Yard has now become a top choice for me when it comes to dining in Las Vegas.

I decided to visit The Front Yard in Las Vegas for the day as a tourist. While the location is slightly off from the main casinos, it's still conveniently close and offers a refreshing alternative to other spots. It's a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a drink at a more affordable price compared to the strip. The menu is concise, but I tried their signature FrontYard Burger and the Mint Berry Smash drink. The burger was bursting with flavor, and I savored every bite paired with the minty, fruity drink. I'll definitely return for another relaxing lunch. The staff was excellent— the hostess was welcoming, and our server checked in periodically. The manager even stopped by to ensure everything was up to par and to see if we needed anything.

The Front Yard in Las Vegas has received mixed reviews, but with great service and a nice atmosphere, there are some positives to consider. The spacious bar and numerous TV's make it a great spot for sports watching, with a good selection of beers on tap. The food, however, comes with a higher price tag compared to nearby options like The Village Pub. The house salad and meatballs received positive feedback, but the steak arrived overcooked when ordered medium rare. It was placed on top of the salad and fries, affecting their taste. Adding Parmesan and garlic to the fries was a recommended improvement. The brisket, unfortunately, was not well-received due to being greasy and lacking in quality. Overall, it's best to skip the brisket and consider ordering extra meatballs instead. Be sure to request not to have a hot steak placed on top of your other dishes for a better dining experience at The Front Yard.

There were pros and cons here. The food was good and the location isn't bad. The price also is reasonable. There were a couple annoying things though. There were flies everywhere. We counted around a dozen just for our table. Also, they skimped on sauce even when requesting extra, so some food was a little bland. However other food was great and the service was decent.

Sunday Football.. around 230pm.. not crowded, we get seated right away.. server comes around.. we order our drink special shots PBJ.. then we order our food. Bucket wings, steak sandwich, shrimp pasta and a pretzel. We see our food get put up in the pickup server line.. and our server is nowhere to be found.. it sat under the heat lamp for a good 20 min, then another server from a different section delivers it.. we got our food when the 125pm football game was finished. Steak was hard.. dry.. would have been better it they cut it to eat the sandwich.. the pretzel was rock hard.. and the wings were so overcooked.. not a great time..

We love this spot. Great food and awesome ambiance. I found it while attending a Yelp Elite event and was pretty impressed. I subsequently able to attend another event there and then my wife saw video on Instagram of it and insisted that I take her. She sent video to a bunch of our friends and our kids who like to try places like this when they visit LV. We both really enjoy the food and the menu options. I will say that the service on our lat visit was pretty lacking but I'm hoping that was just a one-off. That's usually a deal breaker for my wife but she likes the food and ambiance so much that she was willing to overlook it, which doesn't happen often. I feel like that speaks to the overall quality of the typical experience but if we have another experience where we can't get drink refills and go over 20 minutes without seeing a server, I'll be writing an update for this with less stars

I love this place. Had brunch here twice. The first day I got the smoked brisket with caramelized onions and omg it was the best ever! Potatoes seasoning was on spot (potatoes need lots of salt) and they tasted amazing. The second day i got the strawberry pancakes and it was another hit. Absolutely delicious! It was Friday so there was a dj which made the vibe the best ever. Made me wanted to dance at the table . Highly recommend for your breakfast in Vegas!!!

The Front Yard is an awesome open air restaurant with delicious burgers and huge TVs. Our dining experience was 5 stars, but the only problem is you have to walk through a smoky casino and fairly unpleasant parking garage to get here. If you don't mind that, then I promise you will not be let down by the food and service.

This bar is great. But seriously… get the potato skins - they are the best things I’ve ever had in my life to date. Huge amount of food for the price. Meats and cheese were good but I would skip next time because I wish the bread was different, Hummus was yummy. Super cool bartenders.

I just like this place. Not fancy. Good food. Great craft beers. Service is always great. Excellent burgers. Try the pork belly bites just once in your life.
