First of all, how are you going to automatically charge a 20% gratuity. Gratuity is based on the customer's discretion based off the experience and service they received. That's wrong! Second, you have nothing to offer as far as a spa standpoint for couples. There should be a hot tub and sauna that couples can go into together since we're getting services together. Third you don't offer any military discounts or any other discounts even though between me and my husband we had 6 separate services in one day.

Fitness center is difficult to access. The door is locked during open hours, and there is no card scanner for key card access.

Absolutely terrible experience. It’s not a spa at all. They literally just walk back to a massage room that’s outdated. On top of that I had a lady who barely spoke English and when I asked her to not be rough she keep being rough. The bed didn’t warm up. I think a roadside massage parlor would have been better. This is definitely not a spa.

Okay, so our trip started out rocky because of Priceline, we booked through them, not the hotel or the Caesars rewards. They gave our already booked hotel room away to another customer. Then when they did give us a different room, they didn't give any directions on where to go. So my husband and I walked around with all of our luggage in hand for about an hour. Not a single worker that we asked directions from could help us. However, the gentleman doing janitorial were a blessing, they pointed us in the right direction and got us to where we needed to be with ease. When we finally got to our room, we were thrilled, it was the most beautiful view, and our trip was amazing.

Utterly disappointed. The owner of the Rio needs to update this hotel completely and expeditiously. Considering that the Rio is one of the older hotels in Vegas and is still operating, there is no excuse for it to be as outdated and run down as it is. The check in kiosks didn't work, yet there are about six kiosk stations near the check in/check out desks. The check in/check out counter only had two people working on Sunday at 7:45 pm, which caused a line that ran from the desk into the slot machine area. The room was very outdated. It reminded me of the 70's. The furniture is old looking and doesn't match. The lamp shades were literally coming apart. One lamp base looked as though someone tried to repair it and it was off centered. The carpet needs to be cleaned throughout the room. The table in the room was small, no desk was inside the room. The pillows on the bed were awful. They felt like some run down pillows and were not even fluffy at all. The shower and bath tub are out dated and the water in the shower didn't get hot. I turned the knob all the way to the left and the water barely got luke warm. We will NEVER stay at the Rio again. The Marriott has provided better rooms than the Rio. If the owner is not going to invest into the hotel and give it a proper renovation, then they should just sell the property and allow another hotel to rebuild. Don't stay at the Rio! Too many other options in Vegas than to stay there.
