5 Best Rooftop Bars on the Las Vegas Strip

Enjoy stunning Las Vegas views with your drink at the best rooftop bars and lounges on the Las Vegas Strip

Written by Mark Kelly on Jul 26, 2022

Offering much more than your local corner bar, Las Vegas bars and lounges are home to some of the best bartenders, mixologists, and atmospheres in the entire world. Just about every resort on the Las Vegas Strip features a signature drinking destination, with each one boasting a unique vibe and visitor experience. While it’s difficult to go wrong with any of these amazing Las Vegas bars, there are a handful of locations that set themselves apart from the competition by providing visitors with epic rooftop views of the Las Vegas Strip. These are 5 of the best Las Vegas rooftop bars to sip your favorite libation and take in the incredible sight that is the Las Vegas Strip.

5. Beer Park at Paris Las Vegas

Beer Park is located in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip at Paris Las Vegas. This open-air bar is perched just one story above the Strip and can be easily accessed from the staircase located on the southwest corner of Paris.

Unlike many of the other bars and lounges on this list, Beer Park is a sports bar at heart and shows all the big games and events on one of several televisions located throughout the venue. They serve a full menu of traditional sports bar fare and offer dozens of domestic and imported beers on draft. Visitors to Beer Park will enjoy excellent views of the Vegas Strip and are sure to see the Bellagio Fountains come to life several times throughout the evening.

Beer Park is open daily for lunch and dinner and reservations are accepted through their website. They have several large picnic style tables for large groups as well as smaller tables that seat up to four guests. If you’re looking for the best view in the house, request a seat at this rooftop bar’s ledge and overlook all the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas below. For solo visitors and couples, Beer Park does offer open seating at the bar and a couple of open chairs are typically easy to find if you’re not visiting during peak hours.

4. 108 Drinks at The Strat

Located 108 stories above the Las Vegas Strip, 108 Drinks at The Strat is the highest rooftop bar in Las Vegas. Although 108 Drinks itself is located inside, visitors are welcome to grab a drink and visit the outdoor observation deck for stunning and unobstructed Las Vegas views. Visitors of 108 Drinks can choose from a great selection of frozen cocktails, traditional mixed drinks, domestic beers, and wine. 108 Drinks also features a long list of non-alcoholic beverages for the younger crowd.

When it comes to Las Vegas rooftop bars, 108 Drinks certainly offers the most incredible 360-degree views of the Strip and surrounding Las Vegas valley, but admission to the SkyPod is required in order to access this bar. Admission to the SkyPod is $30 per person with discounts available to locals and hotel guests. If you’ve never taken the time to visit the top of The Strat, then 108 Drinks is worth a visit. Grab your favorite drink and gaze at miles of lights from one of several available vantage points. But, if you are looking for a trendier rooftop bar with great music and a better drink selection, then save the cost of admission and visit one of the next 3 bars on this list.

3. SkyBar at Waldorf Astoria

Sitting on the 23rd floor at Waldorf Astoria Las Vegas, SkyBar is not technically a rooftop bar but still makes the list due to its beautiful center strip views and diverse drink menu.  Guests of SkyBar will find plush lounge seating, floor to ceiling windows, and open seating at the bar for walk in visitors. The drink menu at SkyBar features a long list of signature cocktails inspired by the rich history of Las Vegas, along with a large selection of craft beers and wines. Skybar also offers a small food menu available from 5 pm to 11 pm that includes several delectable snacks including Beef Empanadas, Shrimp Tacos and more.

Without question, SkyBar at Waldorf Astoria offers the classiest and trendiest experience of any rooftop bar on this list. The staff is beyond professional, and the bartenders serve up world-class flavors with every pour. The only reason I don’t rate SkyBar a bit higher is the inability to enjoy the beautiful Las Vegas views from many of the tables and bar seating. The next two locations on this list make it easy to walk about and take in incredible Las Vegas views no matter where you’re sitting, but Skybar was the most difficult to snap photos or take in the sights without intruding on others’ personal space. That being said, I would highly recommend making a reservation for anyone planning on visiting SkyBar. Reservations can be made on the website and include a comments section for you to request a table near a window. If you’re lucky enough to get one of these tables, then settle in for a night you will not soon forget.

2. Alle Lounge on 66 at Resorts World

Alle Lounge can be found on the 66th floor at Resorts World and has quickly become one of the most popular rooftop bars in Las Vegas. Offering a laidback atmosphere and expansive layout complete with couches, tables, bar seating, and a small balcony, Alle Lounge delivers a unique blend of class and modern flare.

Unlike the previously mentioned SkyBar at Waldorf Astoria, Alle Lounge makes it extremely easy for guests to take in the panoramic Las Vegas views. Whether you’re grabbing a quick drink at the bar, or settling in at a table for the evening, there’s always plenty of space to walk around and snap the picturesque Las Vegas skyline.

Alle Lounge on 66 was the first rooftop bar I visited on this list and the inspiration behind this post. When I first visited, the delicious drinks, relaxed vibe, and amazing views made me believe it couldn’t be beat, but there’s one view and atmosphere that has officially become my favorite…

1. SkyFall Lounge at Delano

Tucked away inside Delano Las Vegas (the sister property of Mandalay Bay) guests will find the private elevator entrance to SkyFall Lounge. Offering a world-class attentive staff, Live DJs, epic southern Strip Views, and reasonably priced cocktails, SkyFall Lounge offers an exclusive Las Vegas nightlife experience to all its visitors.

In contrast to most of the other bars on this list, where you’ll likely grab a drink or two before heading out, SkyFall Lounge gives visitors a nightlife destination they can enjoy from open to close. The spacious venue utilizes a tiered design to ensure stunning views from any seat in the house. Whether you’re grabbing a seat at the bar, reserving a private table, or hanging out on the small outdoor patio, you’ll be taking in mesmerizing views, listening to the latest hits, and partying the night away in style at this rooftop Las Vegas Bar.

House of Blues at Mandalay Bay also has a really cool view. I'm guessing it's similar to that of SkyFall since they are right next to each other, but still worth checking out.
