We dined at MRKT in Las Vegas on Mother's Day and found the cuisine delightful, with each dish bursting with flavor. The ambience was ideal for celebrating a special day. Despite the delicious food and welcoming atmosphere, our experience was somewhat marred by our server, who was notably discourteous. While the rest of the team was friendly and the meal itself left a positive impression, the service fell short of expectations. Spending around $500 left us wishing for a more polished experience. We hope this was an isolated incident, as the restaurant shows great promise.

The NY Strip I had was a masterpiece, grilled to perfection with an incredible taste. If you're staying at or near the New York hotel, this steakhouse is a must-visit. The service was exceptional, and I was thoroughly impressed with everything. Don't miss out!

For $41, Luxor offers a breakfast experience worth trying. The buffet is both visually appealing and tidy, featuring an impressive array of morning meal options, including shrimp! You can savor custom-made eggs alongside a wide selection of lunch items. The self-service beverage and coffee area is extensive, and the staff is warm and welcoming. If you're seeking late-night dining options, this spot at Aliante shouldn't be missed. From 9pm until closing, they offer a $5 happy hour menu featuring cocktails and a variety of small dishes. We sampled almost the entire happy hour menu and were impressed by both the flavor and presentation of the items. Everything arrived hot and looked appealing. While the overall taste was average, the chicken sliders and meatballs stood out with exceptional flavor. Our server was attentive and friendly, frequently checking in to ensure we had a great experience.

This was my initial visit, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff provided excellent, welcoming service, and I enjoyed the lively casino ambiance. Nonetheless, the food lacked a traditional touch. The papaya salad came with a dense, sweet chili sauce, missing the customary fish sauce, peanuts, and green beans. Whole grape tomatoes failed to absorb much flavor. Additionally, the roasted pork turned out overly salty, with the heavy soy garnish offering little improvement. On a positive note, the shrimp with bok choy was enjoyable.

If you're staying at the JW, this is a solid spot for breakfast. While I missed having windows to enjoy an outside view, it's typical for Vegas. The prices are quite reasonable too.

Edge Steakhouse in Las Vegas boasts a stunning ambiance and top-notch service that enhances the dining experience. The attentive staff contributes significantly to the pleasant atmosphere. A standout item was the bread, which was served warm and absolutely delightful. On the downside, the Caesar salad lacked flavor and was comparable to offerings at chain restaurants. The $115 Wagyu rib cap steak was something I was eager to try, but it fell short of expectations, as I’ve enjoyed better filets at other high-end steakhouses. In summary, while the setting and service are impressive, the food quality varied during my visit.

Briggs Oyster Co. is a top choice whenever I'm in Vegas. The bread and steamed clams are delightful. Take your time to savor your meal here, and you'll find the service is consistently friendly too.

Walking into Saginaw’s Delicatessen is like encountering an adventurous traveler who’s mastered the art of cooking from every corner of the globe. You anticipate an outstanding deli sandwich—exactly what you’ll receive, and it’ll be nothing short of exceptional—but the menu reveals so much more: a marvelous array of diverse delights. Craving some matzo ball soup? They've got it. A towering pastrami sandwich? Absolutely. Perfectly smoked fish? Done to perfection. Then, out of nowhere, a Loco Moco catches your eye. In a deli, of all places! Yet, this isn’t just any interpretation; it’s an impeccable homage to Hawaiian cuisine. The gravy is rich and savory, the burger patty juicy and impeccably seasoned, the egg with a delightful runny yolk, and the rice fluffy and ready to absorb every bit of flavor. If someone had told me I’d wander into a deli and leave yearning for a trip to Hawaii, I would’ve chuckled—yet here I am. Of course, the traditional deli treats are equally outstanding. The bagels reach new heights in perfection, the corned beef is irresistibly tender, and the pickles deliver a satisfying crunch. Saginaw’s is a delightful medley—a fusion of New York deli, Midwest comfort, and Hawaiian island vibes. Somehow, this charming chaos blends seamlessly into a fantastic experience.
