What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

Yolos Mexican Grill serves up vibrant and flavorful cuisine reminiscent of the Southwest, with dishes that truly leave a mark. Their ribeye stands out with its succulence and expertly crafted seasoning, embodying the perfect chargrilled essence. The combo fajitas are also a hit, arriving hot with tender meat, crisp peppers, and some of the best tortillas you'll find. Every element, from the salsa to the sides, contributes to an exceptional culinary journey, making both food and service genuinely impressive. On the downside, the ambience is quite disappointing. The DJ's selection of loud hip-hop music drowns out any chance to savor the exquisite meal fully. It's unfortunate, as the culinary team and staff excel, but the noise level detracts from what could otherwise be a stellar experience. In summary: The food and service deserve 5 stars, while the atmosphere gets just 1 star. If you can handle the loud environment, the flavors are undoubtedly worth the visit.

Yolos Mexican Grill in Las Vegas serves up bold and flavorful Southwest-style Mexican cuisine that is truly impressive. The ribeye stands out as juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly grilled. The combo fajitas are another excellent choice, arriving sizzling with tender meat, fresh peppers, and some of the best tortillas you’ll find. From the salsa to the sides, everything is spot on, delivering a fantastic dining experience in terms of both food and service. Unfortunately, the atmosphere leaves much to be desired. The DJ plays overly loud and disruptive hip-hop music, making it difficult to fully enjoy what could otherwise be a top-tier meal. It’s unfortunate, as both the kitchen and staff deliver, but the environment detracts from the overall experience. Verdict: The flavors are outstanding, earning 5 stars for food and service, but the atmosphere only rates 1 star. If you can tolerate the noise, the delicious flavors are absolutely worth it.

Very disappointing visit. 1. Our drinks only arrived after our meals were served, even though we ordered them well in advance. 2. We asked for chips and queso, but while the chips came promptly, the queso was delayed until after the main dishes were already on the table, and it was in a disappointingly small container. 3. The portions of rice and beans were surprisingly small compared to what is typically expected at a Mexican restaurant. 4. The serving staff's attitude left much to be desired, as they seemed indifferent and unapologetic about the situation. 1/5 - would not recommend.

Yolos Mexican Grill in Las Vegas was a major letdown for our group. We noticed there were fewer than ten occupied tables but decided to give it a shot anyway. We ordered drinks, an appetizer, and our main courses all at once. The drinks took over twenty minutes to arrive, and our appetizer never showed up until our dinner plates were being served. After reminding the waiter, the ceviche was brought out five minutes later, but it turned out to be extremely bland and chewy. The steak fajitas were so tough they were impossible to cut, and we had to request a switch to chicken fajitas. Unfortunately, the chicken was equally unimpressive. The al pastor tacos were also dry and tasteless. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. There are plenty of better and more flavorful options to explore in Las Vegas.

I must have walked past Yolos Mexican Grill at least 20 times without giving it much thought. I'm really glad we decided to give it a shot because it turned out to be quite good. I tried the carne asada torta, and though the steak was served chopped, it was seasoned beautifully and blended wonderfully with the avocado. Simple, yet extremely flavorful. On the other hand, the quesabirria tacos were tasty, but it's worth noting they don't come with consommé. The chicken nachos were also a hit.

We decided to check out Yolos Mexican Grill and were instantly impressed! The salsa had the perfect amount of heat and the homemade chips were crispy and warm. Our server was attentive and even made the guacamole at our table. The margaritas were strong and our meals were delicious. We are already planning on returning before leaving Vegas. Our second visit was just as amazing! Our server, Reagan, was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I ordered the tortilla soup and my companion had the carnitas, both of which were delicious. It was clear that everything was made from scratch. Yolos offers reasonable prices in a city where dining out can be expensive. We only wish they were open for takeout before our flight home. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Vegas.
