The staff at Canonita were welcoming and attentive, and the portions were generous. We had a wonderful experience dining here. Located inside the Venetian, the prices are reasonable considering the setting. The food was flavorful and enjoyable. Highly recommend, and we plan to return on our next trip to Vegas.

I have to say, the food at Canonita has significantly improved since my last visit. The guacamole was flavorful, and the chips were warm, fresh, and crispy, while the salsa had a tasty kick of spice. I ordered the braised beef enchiladas, which were full of good flavor. The black beans and cilantro rice also did not disappoint, each offering a delightful taste experience. Our server was exceptionally nice and courteous, adding to a pleasant dining experience. Kudos to the new cooks for elevating the flavors in the dishes! 😋

We visited Canonita again tonight after several years and were thrilled to find the experience just as enjoyable as we remembered. The chips, salsa, and guacamole were fantastic appetizers. I ordered the San Luis Chile Relleno and, due to a shellfish allergy, sous chef Fernando Alzaga went above and beyond to ensure my dish was safe. It turned out to be incredible, and I truly appreciated the care taken. The Santa Rosa Barbacoa was equally delicious. We also tried the Canonita margaritas, which did not disappoint. Overall, another wonderful meal with special thanks to sous chef Fernando and our waitress Laura L, who made the evening exceptional.

Highly recommend Canonita at the Venetian Las Vegas. The ambiance is lovely, with a seating area offering a great view of the Las Vegas canal where you can watch the gondolas and hear the beautiful serenades. The seating area has a modern and festive decoration. The service was good, with a friendly waitress who was patient with our indecisiveness. The food was tasty, and we appreciated the friendly kitchen staff on our way out. They even invited us to come back again.

Canonita at the Venetian was a great find during our Vegas trip. I dined here twice and was impressed both times. The chicken enchiladas and chicken quesadilla were top-notch, some of the best Mexican food I've ever had. The green rice was a standout dish for me. The service was exceptional, with our hostess Larissa taking care of our large group with perfection, patience, and kindness. Despite our initial hesitations about the happy hour drinks, they turned out to be a hit with everyone. I recommend snagging a table by the canal for a soothing ambiance, although some in our group weren't keen on the singing that accompanied the dining experience. Overall, I'll definitely be returning to Canonita, even if I'm not staying at the Venetian.
