I visited Arroyo Golf Club at Red Rock in Las Vegas for a 2:16 PM round on a Tuesday. Located about half an hour from the strip, the course was virtually empty as I had the last tee time of the day. The practice areas are excellent, featuring a dual-sided driving range with members using one side. I managed to complete 14 holes before sunset brought cooler temperatures among the surrounding canyons. The course itself is well-maintained, though the greens were somewhat marred by unrepaired pitch marks left by others. While the experience was nearly flawless, clearer signage would have been appreciated to prevent getting lost en route to the 16th hole—especially for first-time visitors. Despite this, the stunning canyon vistas make a return trip essential. I'm looking forward to a summer visit.

Impressive! A round of golf here costs around $120, and it's absolutely breathtaking. Although it's a 40-minute drive from Las Vegas, the journey is definitely worthwhile. Their pro shop is well-stocked with everything you might need. The restaurant offers a fantastic experience, boasting excellent service and beautiful views. The menu may be simple, but everything is executed superbly. I enjoyed the breakfast burger with potatoes, and at $18, it was an excellent choice. My companion had an omelette that looked delicious. Don't miss out on exploring their three lakes, diverse birdlife, and great facilities. It's a delightful experience!

Typically, I compare prices with other local courses, but since I was accompanying a high roller friend, this round was complimentary. The course's practice facilities were impressive, even though there wasn't a range; the net setup was a nice touch. The upkeep of the course was outstanding, with pristine greens and flawless fairways. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. Our caddy, Josh, was exceptional, always present but never intrusive. This course ranks as my premier golfing experience in Las Vegas. I would definitely return for another round.

Staying at the Park MGM, I arranged a golf outing through their concierge and secured an 8 a.m. Sunday tee time for my friend and me, which was perfect. We took an Uber from the Strip, which took about 35 minutes. The Bolder City Golf Course offered breathtaking views and presented a moderate challenge—suitable for my level as a novice golfer. A local couple joined us and highly recommended this venue as one of their top picks. The golf carts came fully loaded with the latest digital tools and even included a cooler with ice, though you'll need to bring your own drinks from the bar. The cooler could hold six beers, so we needed a couple of refills, which was amusing. Food and beverages were fairly priced; I recall a deal where buying six beers got you a seventh free for around $28. Since we're from out of town, we rented clubs through the hotel for $50, which didn't cover tees or balls, but we easily sourced those at the course's pro shop. I definitely suggest giving this course a try if you have the opportunity!

We first experienced Highland Falls Golf Club back on October 30, 2020, and, although the specifics had faded from memory, our positive impression had not. Given the abundance of golf courses in Las Vegas, it's easy to mix them up, so we decided to revisit this particular gem on April 19, 2025, for a second outing. Having secured a 2:30 tee time, we were pleasantly surprised to be accommodated even earlier, which fit perfectly with our jam-packed schedule. The pro shop attendant was exceptional—professional, friendly, and highly efficient, making the check-in process seamless. The rates for locals were fair, adding to the appeal. The golf carts seemed brand new, sparkling with cleanliness, though the lack of GPS or a range finder could have been an improvement, it wasn't a major downside. The beverage service concluded sooner than we wished, but the cool weather made it less of an issue. Highland Falls offers a thoughtfully designed course with generously wide fairways, welcoming golfers of varying skill levels. While the course isn’t particularly long, its design encourages strategic shot-making, delivering an enjoyable challenge for all.

Bali Hai Golf Course was our last destination, but the weather didn't cooperate, impacting our experience. Due to substantial rain, carts were restricted to the paths, which disrupted the game's rhythm. The course had numerous soggy, muddy patches and wasn't in its typical shape. Still, the course retains glimpses of its historic allure. Its tropical setting, closeness to the Strip, and an entertaining par-3 challenge set it apart. With improved weather and upkeep, I can certainly appreciate its charm. We just happened to visit on an unfortunate day.

Visited Reflection Bay for the first time and had an incredible experience. The course was immaculate, offering breathtaking views from numerous holes. Although the practice area is compact, the setup is impressive, especially the net for range ball practice, which aligns well with the course's exclusive atmosphere. All staff members, from those in the pro shop to those at the bar, were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to the starter, Mark, for pairing me with a lively group after my original partners dropped out.

While the course itself is stunning and offers an enjoyable golfing experience, my visit was tainted by an unpleasant interaction at the front desk. When I called to be connected to the restaurant, the staff member's response was curt and seemed annoyed. After the restaurant failed to answer and I called back, his attitude only worsened, becoming unnecessarily snippy. This negative demeanor was unexpected, especially since I was polite in my request for assistance in reaching the restaurant. I hope this was an isolated incident and that in the future, visitors will be treated with more respect and courtesy. It's more common to encounter difficult customers than service staff, so this experience was quite disappointing.
