I was initially hesitant about staying at The Orleans Resort Pool in Las Vegas, but it ended up being a pleasant surprise. I would give this place a five-star review as it surpassed my expectations in many aspects. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and although slightly outdated, they had great air conditioning, access to Netflix, comfortable beds, and strong water pressure in the showers. When I requested a crib, it was promptly delivered without any issues. The casino was also well-maintained and offered a variety of dining options to choose from. Overall, The Orleans Resort Pool did an excellent job and I can see myself returning for future events. Great job, Orleans!
The casino and hotel at Luxor are fantastic. Our room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the strip. The only downside was the elevators - it seemed like not all of them were working at once. It's a good idea to have different color elevators for different floors, they just need to make sure they are all working. Parking can be pricey, so be prepared to pay if you bring a car. Overall, I had a great time and had some luck at the casino.
The price for a well drink at 108 Drinks is a bit steep at $14. However, the bar's location is fantastic and the bartender was super friendly.
The Spa at ARIA was a wonderful experience. I opted for the Athletes massage, which came to about $230 after a 20% tip. I visited on a Wednesday and was pleased to find it was not crowded. I had expected a larger facility based on reviews. The customer service was exceptional, with employees who truly seemed to care about my experience. While the co-ed section was a bit underwhelming, consisting of only a salt room, a noisy outdoor pool due to the nearby day club, and a Japanese bed, the male-only side had a sauna and steam room that I enjoyed. The cold plunge was a highlight for me. However, I found the hot tubs in the male-only section to be less hot than I had anticipated, with the outdoor heated pool being even hotter than the hot tubs.
Miracle Mile Shops is a great mall located next to Paris in Las Vegas. It offers a wide variety of stores to choose from, ranging from high-end brands to Vegas souvenirs. The circular layout makes it easy to navigate and explore. In addition to shopping, there are also a few restaurants and even a tattoo shop on site. Don't miss the cool rain show that happens every half hour - it's definitely worth checking out while you're there.
