The 120,000 square foot casino floor at Luxor is an excellent gambling destination. Not only does it offer the most popular slot and table games, but also a spacious layout to accommodate the largest of crowds. A total of 1,500 slot machines are available and range in denominations from 1 cent to $100. On average, these slots payout 17 million dollars in jackpots every year. Luxor is also a fabulous gambling destination for table players. 87 tables are available, and like the slot machines, the tables come in a wide range of denominations. Cocktail waitresses are plentiful and bring free drink to anyone playing any game. The decor surrounding the casino floor does not possess the same glamour found at other strip resorts, but for serious gamblers, Luxor is very tough to beat.

I spent three nights at Luxor in Las Vegas in February 2025. The fitness center is well-equipped. The room includes only the bare essentials. There’s no refrigerator, soap, comb, or other amenities, though a hairdryer is provided. Shampoo and body soap are available, but there's no hair conditioner. A few plastic cups are supplied. The bathtub struggles to fill up and the hot water supply was weak, though the shower worked fine. The bed was exceptionally soft and comfortable. The hotel’s convenience store is pricey, with a 700ml bottle of water priced at $10. Overall, the fitness center and bed were excellent, but the lack of amenities and high prices were disappointing.

Just finished my stay at the Luxor in Las Vegas. I've always been fascinated by its impressive exterior and the stunning lobby you see when you walk in. My main issue was with the elevators. Staying on the sixteenth floor, we often found that the elevators would bypass our floor, going up to the twentieth, requiring us to come back down. The panels inside the elevators were also coming loose, which was the case for all four of them. The room was very nice, though natural light was limited due to the building's design, which was expected but not something I realized initially. There are plenty of dining options and activities available within the hotel, and I spent a significant amount of time in the casino. The hotel lobby staff were outstanding, accommodating an early check-in and late checkout at no extra cost. It's important to note that the hotel is towards the end of the Strip, so expect a bit of a walk to the main attractions. Overall, I had a wonderful stay!

Our experience at the Luxor Hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room was mostly clean, although we did find a few long hairs in the bathtub, likely left by a prior guest, and there was some dust along the edges of the bed. On a positive note, the mattress and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, surpassing those in many other hotels, which contributed to a great night's sleep. As someone attentive to water quality, I tested the tap water, which showed around 400 TDS (total dissolved solids), indicating lower quality. Conversely, the ice from the hotel had an excellent reading of approximately 10, which was a pleasant surprise. One downside was the hotel's distance from the main Strip—it can be quite a walk, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Additionally, the noise levels were notable. Conversations and movements in the hallways were surprisingly loud, whether from other guests or staff, which could be disruptive. Another area for improvement is the food court, which was somewhat lacking in variety. The limited options made it challenging to find something appealing after a busy day. While the iconic design and unique atmosphere of the hotel are appealing, there is obvious potential for enhancement in the areas of cleanliness, soundproofing, food variety, and convenience. Addressing these issues could make the Luxor a more fulfilling place to stay.

The Luxor Hotel in Las Vegas offers a stunning atmosphere and enjoyable gaming options, but the dining experience left much to be desired. The breakfast buffet came with a steep price tag of $100, yet the food was cold and mediocre. After a long day, the lack of hot water in the shower was disappointing, as a warm shower would have been perfect. The TV had its issues, though the Fantasy show was a highlight. If firm pillows are your preference, consider bringing your own. Should there be a return trip, a different accommodation will likely be chosen. Note that the room lacked a refrigerator and a coffee machine.

We had a delightful two-night stay at this excellent hotel. Parking is reasonably priced at $18 per day, and the cost for a double room is very competitive. The rooms themselves are impressive, featuring comfortable large double beds that ensured a restful sleep on the 17th floor. The air-conditioned rooms are neat and clean, and the Food Court offers a proper breakfast. If you're looking to enjoy some gambling, the hotel has thoughtfully provided this amenity for both entertainment and potential profit. The pool is superb and not overcrowded; simply grab a towel from your room, take a dip, and relax on a sunbed. Kudos to the hotel for a great experience. This was our third visit to Vegas, and we'll definitely be returning.

We had an amazing experience at this resort! The pyramid theme was stunning and truly unique. There were so many activities and amenities available inside the resort. The room served its purpose well for sleeping, which was all we really needed. The customer service was excellent, and we appreciated the early check-in after our early flight arrival. While the location is a bit farther from the main attractions, the calm and relaxing atmosphere made it a perfect getaway from the fast-paced areas.
