Overall, TENDER Steak and Seafood offers a decent meal at a reasonable price. Considering a stay at Park MGM, a comparable meal there would likely cost almost twice as much. One of the servers, Mike, was training two individuals, Hector and Nicole. Unfortunately, Hector appeared uninterested and unengaged, spending much of the meal chatting with coworkers, crossing his arms, yawning, and using his phone. Despite Mike’s efforts to provide guidance, such as explaining when to clear plates, Hector seemed unresponsive. On a positive note, Mike crafted a delicious martini and demonstrated genuine care in his work. Nicole, on the other hand, was attentive and proactive. She asked pertinent questions, had a great smile, and displayed the qualities of a quick learner—someone any employer would value. Overall, I would rate this experience a 3 out of 5. If not for the distracting behavior of Hector, the rating could have been a 4.

Caesar salad at TENDER Steak and Seafood offers a unique twist with the addition of lemon zest. The bread served was well-balanced, not too hard nor too soft. For the main course, New York strip steak medium-well was accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, asparagus, and lobster mac and cheese. The first bite of the steak was seasoned to perfection, but subsequent bites revealed it was slightly too pink for a medium-well order. Upon returning, the steak came back well done, overcooked for my preference, which unfortunately diminished my appetite. The lobster mac and cheese had a different taste, likely from the variety of cheeses used, along with a hint of smokiness. The garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus stood out as particularly enjoyable highlights of the meal. Service was friendly and attentive, although they didn't seem to pick up on my continued disappointment with the steak. I chose not to return the dish a second time or make a fuss. Dessert consisted of a chocolate mousse cake with roasted granola. The flavor was pleasant, though the base, reminiscent of a raspberry parfait, wasn’t to my taste. Overall, the experience was disappointing as the main dish failed to meet expectations, leaving me unsatisfied despite the considerable cost of the meal. This review reflects the experience as of 7/1/2024.

I had some difficulty securing a reservation at Tender steak and seafood, but eventually managed to book a table for Friday evening. The restaurant was not very busy when we arrived, with only a few tables occupied in the room we were seated in. For starters, I tried the crabcake which was decent but not exceptional. My dining companion had the lobster soup, which was lacking in flavor and seemed to be lacking in lobster as well. Our entree, the bone-in Tommy Hawk steak, was cooked well but a bit gristly and not as flavorful as expected. The accompanying sauces were a nice touch though. We also ordered the lobster Mac, which was dry and lacking in taste, and the cheese grits which were excellent. The huckleberry cheesecake we had for dessert was outstanding and definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, the service was good and the restaurant had a lovely old-fashioned decor. Our bill came to $390 for two people. I did try to provide some feedback to the restaurant management but unfortunately did not receive a response. In conclusion, Tender steak and seafood has room for improvement in terms of food quality and customer service.

The meal at TENDER steak and seafood was decent and well-priced compared to other places nearby. The service was a bit hit or miss, with one trainee seeming disinterested and another impressing with their attentiveness. The martini was delicious and the server, Nicole, was friendly and proactive. Overall, a 3 out of 5 experience that would have been higher if not for the distraction of one trainee.

My first experience at Tender was enjoyable. The restaurant had a classic old-school Vegas vibe, but the dress code was casual. Our server was friendly and attentive, keeping our water glasses full and our food arrived surprisingly quickly. The highlight of the meal was definitely the steaks, which earned the restaurant a four-star rating. I opted for the coffee-rubbed New York steak, and while I could detect a hint of coffee in the butter, I felt that the steak itself could have used more seasoning. The prime rib, a special on Sundays, was not cooked to the medium rare temperature I requested and also seemed lacking in seasoning, resulting in a somewhat dry dish since no Au Jus was provided. The baked potato was a standout side, large enough to share between two people. Despite the minor issues with the beef dishes, we had an overall pleasant experience at Tender and are willing to give it another try in the future.

Our first visit to Tender was a pleasant experience. The restaurant had a classic Vegas feel but accommodated casual attire. The service was friendly and attentive, with quick food delivery and regular water refills. The highlight of the meal was the steaks, which received a four-star rating. I tried the coffee-rubbed New York steak, which had a subtle coffee flavor in the butter but lacked seasoning. The prime rib, available as a Sunday special, was overcooked and dry, missing the expected Au Jus. The baked potato was tasty and generously sized for sharing. Overall, we enjoyed our evening at Tender, and while the beef may have been lacking on this visit, we would be willing to give it another try.
