I ordered the dry aged bison Ribeye at Gallagher's Steakhouse in Las Vegas and unfortunately received a well done steak instead of the medium rare I requested. Despite the overcooking, the flavor of the steak was excellent. However, for the price of $68.00 and a 45-minute wait, I expected a properly cooked steak. The side of mashed potatoes for $13.00 was good, but not worth the price. The atmosphere was decent, located inside New York New York, which felt like an amusement park with a NYC theme. The wine selection was decent but overpriced. The bar staff, on the other hand, was amazing. They were knowledgeable, personable, and provided impeccable service, which was the most redeeming part of the dining experience.

What a pleasure it was finding a true American steakhouse on the Strip. The staff at Gallagher's made our birthday dinner memorable. The Cowboy Ribeye, you're not going to find a better one! Top notch all the way round.

We went on New Year’s Eve 5:15pm. When we were seated is when we found out about the preselected menu item, your choice of several 3 course meals. We had the ribeye and filet steaks, one with a potato and one with mushrooms. The steaks came cooked as ordered medium rare, good sear but very dry. The potato was warm and hardly melt the butter. Both of the salads were good and the desserts were ok. I went to the restroom and it was out in the casino and I had to wait in a long line and it was filthy. $175/ meal for a $391 total with no alcohol before the $75 tip. We watched other tables leave once they looked at the menu, we didn’t want to be those people.

As a highly acclaimed steakhouse in Las Vegas, I was eager to sample their renowned offerings. However, I was pleasantly shocked by the exceptional quality of their halibut dish. The fish was expertly cooked with a rich and flavorful red sauce, accompanied by thin and crispy potato slices. This combination made for a truly outstanding meal. The service was exceptional, with our server being both fun and efficient, ensuring that our dining experience was seamless. Our glasses were constantly refilled, enhancing the overall ambiance of the restaurant. If you are ever in Las Vegas, this steakhouse is a must-visit for those seeking a remarkable culinary experience, especially for those looking for the best halibut dish. This restaurant truly delivers on its promise of exceptional food and service, making it a standout dining destination in the area.

My wife and I had a pleasant evening at Gallagher's Steakhouse. It was by far the most I have paid for food "without" having doubts that I got my money worth!!! Besides the meat being cooked just as requested it was served with such a professionalism that I could not highlight this enough (Scott was our waiter!). We were seated in a side room which somewhat secluded us with several others from the rest of the business. There is a lot of other restaurants on the strip who try selling the same experience with half the success but similar prices... just saying! We had the prime rib, dry aged NY meat which are both specialties of the house plus green asparagus as well the cream spinach. Being super stuffed we still could not resist to attack the cheese cake based on everything being so great. It was more on the fluffy side which pleased my wife but I'd say that was the only thing which didn't convince me 100% but was still good. I like the more dense cakes as the one from Costco- Personal preference I guess.
