Located inside the Ellis Island Casino, Metro Pizza offers delicious New York style pizza in Las Vegas. Their Thursday and Sunday BOGO large pizza deals are unbeatable. On a recent visit, we tried the ham pizza and were impressed. It was not greasy, had a generous amount of toppings, and was simply excellent. A must-try for pizza lovers in the area.
During our visit to Las Vegas, we decided to try McCall's Heartland Grill since other restaurants were closed. The steakhouse was a bit on the pricey side, but it was a special occasion so we were willing to splurge. Our waiter, Dean, was friendly and attentive. The Prime Rib was excellent, but we found the salad to be overpriced for the portion size. Overall, we left feeling satisfied and full.
Recently visited Gallagher's Steakhouse in Las Vegas before heading to see a show. The restaurant was busy and noisy, likely due to a Vegas Golden Knights game happening nearby. Despite this, we were seated promptly and received great service from our server. He made some recommendations, and we decided on their signature dry-aged New York strip. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, with lots of old signed photos, but nothing particularly stood out. The food arrived and was tasty, including the steak. We also ordered mushrooms and Brussels sprouts, which were just okay. While Gallagher's Steakhouse is somewhere I would be happy to dine at if invited, it doesn't make it to the top of my list for must-visit Vegas restaurants.
I had never tried Sbarro before, but I was drawn in by the sight of a fresh pizza coming out of the oven. I must say, I was not disappointed! The cheese was perfectly melted and had a nice stretch to it, the crust was crunchy and held up well. It was a great, affordable option for a quick meal. Highly recommend giving it a try!
