Celebrating my birthday weekend at The Strat in Las Vegas was truly unforgettable. A complimentary dinner at McCall's Heartland Grill, nestled within the hotel and casino, made it even more special. The staff impressed with their exceptional service, the ambiance was charming, and the food stood out. For my meal, I chose a bone-in ribeye steak with a loaded baked potato, requesting a side of lump crab to elevate the dish further. I even joked they should name it "Mr. Cooper's Loaded Lump Crab Baked Potato!" The steak, ordered medium well, was delicious but could use a touch more seasoning. The lobster tail, though, was a minor letdown initially, as the steamed version didn’t meet my expectations. After requesting a broiled replacement, it was much improved, but its small size limited its appeal, earning a 3 out of 10. The ribeye steak deserved a solid 7 out of 10, and the enhanced baked potato truly shined. Overall, dining at McCall's Heartland Grill contributed to a wonderful birthday celebration.

I can hardly express how extraordinary this dining experience was! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by two delightful hosts who made us feel truly special, engaging us in pleasant conversation as they seated us. The menu and specials were all enticing. The bartender crafted our specialty drinks to perfection. Our server, Dean, was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and added to the experience with his helpful and friendly demeanor. The dinner was possibly the most delicious we have ever had. With an incredible chef, dedicated staff, and a welcoming ambience, even the General Manager took the time to visit our table to ensure we were having a great experience. This is undoubtedly the finest dining establishment we've encountered, not only in Vegas but anywhere.

I ordered the premier steak option from the menu, but it fell short of expectations, lacking both flavor and vibrancy. On a positive note, the nachos were bursting with amazing flavor. The atmosphere was pleasant, and my server, Mark, provided exceptional service, standing out as one of the best I've encountered in recent years.

We were greeted and seated promptly. The cocktails we ordered were fantastic. The bread, soft, buttery, and salty, made for a great start! For appetizers, we had the shrimp and lobster dip, which was incredibly flavorful, creamy, and cheesy—absolutely fantastic. The steak, although a bit fatty, was expected with that particular cut. The braised short ribs over mashed potatoes stood out as one of the best dishes ever tasted, with flavors that were out of this world! The Mac n cheese was also creamy and flavorful. Our server was very nice, attentive, and answered all of our questions. Overall, it was a great experience and is highly recommended.

The bread looked delicious but turned out to be dry. The nachos with prime rib were tasty, although the chips weren't quite to my liking. The shrimp and rice dish was enjoyable but could have used a bit more food for the price. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience, and I would recommend it if you dine there. The drinks are a bit pricey but very good; I tried a Captain Morgan and Sprite, which was excellent. The food was good, though I feel the prices were a bit high for what was offered.

McCall's Heartland Grill is absolutely scrumptious. I had the pleasure of dining here twice during my visit and enjoyed it immensely each time. The wait staff was incredibly friendly and the bartenders were very pleasant. I wish I lived closer so I could have dinner there tonight.
