Ellis Island BBQ is absolutely spectacular! Despite not being a high-end restaurant, the food is delicious and well worth the visit at a reasonable price. While the restaurant may not be large, the menu offers tasty options like chicken, ribs, or a combination of both. It's a great choice for a good meal that won't break the bank in the area. Whether it's breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food is fantastic. If you're a fan of barbecue, I highly recommend stopping by Ellis Island BBQ for a delicious meal.
Bouchon in Las Vegas is still an excellent brunch spot, just as good as it was over 15 years ago. The eggs Benedict with crab were perfectly prepared, the croissant was delicious, and my friend's eggs and bacon were scrumptious. The service was excellent and the dining room was beautiful. It's definitely my favorite brunch spot in Vegas! If you can't get in, try showing up just before they open at 8am and sit at the bar, which is my favorite seat in the restaurant.
McCall's Heartland Grill at The STRAT on the main level is a great restaurant. The Alfredo and house salad are both delicious, and the bread is top-notch. Just be aware that the happy hour times are not accurately portrayed on some third-party sites. The actual happy hour runs from 4:00 to 6:00, and then again from 10:00 to midnight.
Roxy's is a great spot that is only open for special events. Make sure to check the schedule for the specific times and groups performing. They often have live country music, especially during events like New Year's Eve and Cowboy Week. On weekends when Roxy's is not open, Sam's Town is a good place to gamble. Saturdays after 8pm are particularly busy, while Sundays are more relaxed and the machines tend to be looser.
Big Chill in Las Vegas is a great place to stop for a refreshing drink. With so many locations in the city, you can't go wrong. Depending on the size you order, you can walk away with a souvenir glass. There is also a discount on refills if you opt for the souvenir size.
The Monday shift at Lobby Bar at Caesars was disappointing due to poorly prepared drinks with almost no alcohol in them. It seems like the bartenders, who are new, are trying to take advantage of customers by serving cocktails that were almost virgin. Management should address this issue as it is not fair to customers, especially in a city like Vegas known for its vibrant nightlife.
