The club is smallish (seats 300), but you are all near the stage. The drinks are what you would expect and the service is okay. Saw a show and it was good. The place is not too expensive and was nice just to relax and have a good laugh.
I love Sunset Station and go there often to dine at Pasta Cucina (delicious) and to see movies and shows. Everyone is friendly and it’s beautiful! Great atmosphere.
Vdara rooms are spacious if you do not intent to use the pull out sofa. That being said, when we made our reservations, we did mark it for 4, that night, when we pulled the sofa bed out, went to the closet for the linens, none were there. When we called to inform them that we had no 2nd set of linens despite our reservations indicating that; they took a few minutes shy of an hour to delivery them. Regarding the room: a lot of the light fixtures either didn’t work or a light bulb in the set was out. Made the room feel dark and not comfortable. The overall staff was decent, nothing to rave about. Since there was no casino, the restaurants were non existent and the one cafe downstairs was good, limited but good. The shower head leaked a lot so not sure how much of the wellness we were really Getting.
Nice place, I love the fountains!, we went many times for dinner and never disappointed, only the tomahawk 🥩👎🏼 definitely no!, but we love the salmon pizza, the desserts, and this year we went for lunch for the first time, and it was delicious the chilaquiles with eggs on top, and the avocado toast. The chicken wings are spicy and very good. 👍🏼
The restaurant was ok. For spending over $250 for 2 adults and 2 kids, I was expecting more. Where to begin... The booths are quite narrow and a bit uncomfortable to sit at if you are a larger person. Most items on the menu come with these ranch mashed potatoes, and "The chef does not allow substitutions to the dishes!" Means you can't change the sides, just add on the ones you want. The porterhouse I ordered was not medium rare... It was more medium to well done. It was sad, but I didn't want to wait another 20 minutes to get a good steak. The BBQ was really good, so I would stick with that next time. The ribeye was cooked to medium, but was a bit heavy on the salt... Almost like it was added just before it was cooked. The desserts were really good. Overall this place tries to be fine dining but falls short. I have eaten better steaks at cheaper restaurants. Also.... There was no crust on the steak. It was grey except where the grill burnt char marks into the meat. Maybe I am just spoiled, but a nice crust developed from the heat trumps grey steak with burn marks.
