We spent the day in the Grand Cabana at the Waterfall Pool and had a wonderful time. The cabana comfortably fit our large group, with plenty of seating options including a dining table, high top table, sofa, and coffee table. It also had amenities like a TV, misters, and an umbrella. It was a great value for what we got.
This theater is my favorite and my top choice for seeing movies. The recliner chairs are super comfortable, the screens are great, and the sound systems are top-notch. Plus, the prices are better than other theaters. I go here frequently and have never had a negative experience.
I called Boar's Head Bar in Las Vegas to inquire about their policy on individuals with Down syndrome entering the bar to have a drink. Unfortunately, the phone call was abruptly ended by the staff before I could get an answer to my question.
The food and service at Gordon Ramsay Burger in Las Vegas were definitely worth it. After getting off our flight, we decided to check out this spot and were not disappointed. The burgers had an amazing combination of flavors, especially the truffle burger which was fantastic. Our waiter provided great service, although we didn't catch his name. The only downside was that some of the chairs and tables could use updating.
Our first visit to Tender was a pleasant experience. The restaurant had a classic Vegas feel but accommodated casual attire. The service was friendly and attentive, with quick food delivery and regular water refills. The highlight of the meal was the steaks, which received a four-star rating. I tried the coffee-rubbed New York steak, which had a subtle coffee flavor in the butter but lacked seasoning. The prime rib, available as a Sunday special, was overcooked and dry, missing the expected Au Jus. The baked potato was tasty and generously sized for sharing. Overall, we enjoyed our evening at Tender, and while the beef may have been lacking on this visit, we would be willing to give it another try.
The performance by Shin Lim in Las Vegas was truly magnificent. However, the unfortunate part of the evening was the lack of intervention from the manager regarding disruptive audience members. Despite sitting in the 4th row with a clear view, I was distracted by a noisy Chinese family sitting nearby. The child was running around, yelling, and causing a disturbance throughout the show, while the parents did not intervene and even took photos with flash. Unfortunately, when I brought this issue to a staff member, the manager I spoke with was unapologetic and unhelpful. He mentioned that if he had noticed the disruption during the show, he could have addressed it (even though he was not present during the performance). Due to the lack of intermission, it was difficult to address the problem during the show. However, before leaving, a supervisor did offer me a $25 credit for the Mirage, which was a nice gesture. Overall, despite the impressive performance by Shin Lim, the experience was marred by the inattentiveness of the manager. While the show was enjoyable, the lack of customer service may deter me from returning in the future.
Recently dined at The Angry Butcher located in Sam's Town casino and had a great meal. Opted for the fried chicken, Rosemary potatoes, and house salad. The salad was generously sized with fresh ingredients, and the honey mustard vinaigrette dressing was delicious. The fried chicken was cooked perfectly with a crispy exterior and tender meat. The portion size of the potatoes was huge and complemented the chicken well. My dining companion enjoyed the half herb chicken as well. Our waiter, Mark, was attentive and friendly. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating with a view of the interior waterfall at Sam's Town. The only minor issue was a slight old smell inside the restaurant, but it didn't affect the overall dining experience. Prices were on par with similar restaurants in Las Vegas. Would definitely return to The Angry Butcher on my next visit to Sam's Town.
