We really enjoyed Horseshoe Las Vegas for its central location. It seemed a bit quieter than some of the other casinos, which we preferred, and the rooms were good with excellent views. The only reasons it doesn't get 5 stars are the check-in process and the blackjack payout. There was about a 30-minute to 1-hour wait to check in, even though the line wasn't that long. Every time we returned from a day of activities, we saw a very large line of people waiting to check in, so it's unclear how long they had to wait. We also wish the blackjack tables would return to paying 3:2 for blackjack. Overall, it’s a very central location and a great stay.

I recently stayed at Horseshoe Las Vegas for 6 nights and it was a disappointing experience. The rates were not worth it at all. My room had issues with the AC on the first night, making it extremely hot despite the 100+ degree weather outside. Maintenance was called to fix it but never showed up as scheduled. After requesting a room change, the new room wasn't much better - dirty, dusty, old, and had a strange smell. Despite requesting new towels and toilet paper, they never arrived and the service was overall terrible. The lack of care for guest experience and poor service quality made my vacation stressful and far from relaxing. I would not recommend staying here unless you want to sleep in a dirty room and have a stressful experience. It seems like this hotel should be priced much lower considering the lack of service provided. A cheaper option like Motel 6 might treat you better.

The rooms at Horseshoe Las Vegas were overall satisfactory, with spacious accommodations, a pleasant bathroom, and a refrigerator in the 2 queen studio with a high roller view. It was convenient that the hotel is connected to Paris, which offers a larger and more attractive casino as well as various dining and shopping options. The pool was enjoyable, although lacking in shade and waiter service. However, there were some drawbacks, such as long waits at check-in and malfunctioning kiosks meant to expedite the process. The room temperature never dropped below 75 degrees, and the pillows were lumpy. The slow elevator service was a problem, as only a few out of ten seemed to be operational. In-room coffee was not provided and was expensive to purchase at the hotel. The minimum bet at the blackjack tables was at least $15, often $25 with a disappointing 6:5 payout for blackjacks. As a result, we opted to play at other casinos, like the nearby Ellis Island. Considering these issues, we would likely choose a different hotel for our next stay in Las Vegas.

The accommodations at this hotel were spacious and well-equipped with everything you could need. It would have been a nice touch to have coffee making facilities in the rooms. The cleanliness and service were excellent. The hotel's location in the heart of the strip made it convenient and easy to access.

My stay at Horseshoe Las Vegas was far from enjoyable. The cleanliness of the hotel left much to be desired, with dirty halls, broken elevators, and rude housekeeping staff. The elevators were a common topic of conversation among guests due to their unreliability, with some guests even getting stuck for extended periods of time. Housekeeping services were equally disappointing, with one incident where I had to wait until after midnight to access my room because the staff member refused to clean it at a convenient time. My room itself was dusty and not properly cleaned, with evidence of gum stains on the bed, hard water stains on the shower head, and rust stains on the bathroom vent. Overall, my experience at Horseshoe Las Vegas was subpar and I would not recommend staying here, especially for business purposes. The lack of cleanliness and poor maintenance of the rooms made my stay uncomfortable and frustrating.

The escalators at Horseshoe Las Vegas are constantly out of order, which has been a recurring issue for several years now. The rooms are well-maintained and comfortable, but our recent 10-day stay during the WSOP tournament with teenagers was marred by an incident at the store where security searched our room after seeing the amount of snacks we had purchased. Despite only having a few bags of chips, sodas, water, cereals, and some dairy products in the fridge, we were met with snide remarks about our food stash. On a positive note, the pool area was fantastic and our two days in a cabana were enjoyable, with excellent service all around.
