Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Bar

The service at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Bar left something to be desired during our visit. I ordered tempura prawns, but was brought sushi rolls instead. When I tried to explain the mistake, the waitress became argumentative and refused to remove the rolls from our bill. However, the rest of the food we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The chef deserves compliments for their skills. While we enjoyed the ambiance of sitting by the fountain, we were disappointed by the subpar service we received. Despite the tasty food, the overall experience was just okay.

Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas is a bustling spot that offers more than just your typical sushi and sashimi options. I opted for the Omakase menu, which features the chef's choice selection of dishes, including A5 wagyu steak and a variety of premium seafood presented on seven beautifully crafted plates. Despite only being able to secure a spot at the bar, I found the bartender to be incredibly friendly and accommodating. However, I did notice that some of the other staff seemed a bit inattentive, quickly serving the dishes without providing detailed explanations of each course. At a menu price point of $200, I believe a bit more attention and explanation would truly showcase the chef's skill and attention to detail.

We opted for the fountain dining experience at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas, and it was well worth the minimum $125 spend. The atmosphere was serene, with beautiful views of the fountain and away from the noise of the restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, and the staff was excellent. I can't praise this place enough. Highly recommend!

Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Bar in Las Vegas provides exceptional service from the moment you walk in. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and the recommendations for first-time visitors are spot-on. The shared plates were all delicious, especially for sushi lovers. The Mile High rolls are a must-try and are sure to impress. This restaurant has quickly become a favorite, and I highly recommend it to anyone in the area.

We did splurge on the fountain dining which is a minimum of $125 spend which is easy to do here but it was well worth it. Away from the restaurant noise and all the upfront views of the fountain. Love love love. The food was AMAZING, staff was AMAZING ! I just can’t say it enough.

Patio waitress wasn't very helpful. I asked for tempura prawns, and she brought us sushi rolls. I explained I did not want those, and she just started arguing with me. She then said they could make what I wanted but was not about to remove the rolls from our bill. The rest of the food was fresh, well presented, and delicious! I compliment the chef.
