Decided to celebrate a special occasion with some Japanese cuisine. After browsing photos of dishes on Yelp and Google, we settled on trying Kumi Japanese Restaurant. Upon arrival, we were informed by the waitress that the menu options were limited due to a missed delivery from the food truck, which meant no shrimp was available. The salmon was well-prepared and the cocktail was delightful, but it was disappointing not to have shrimp included in the sushi offerings. The total cost was $240 for four cocktails, sushi, fried rice, and dessert. Given the limited menu, I expected more variety. Unfortunately, I don't plan on returning in the future.

Fantastic sushi spot! While the prices are a bit on the higher side, which is expected for a Vegas Strip location, my only gripe was a mysterious $5.85 surcharge on the bill. The Shogun roll and Spicy Rock Shrimp were our favorites, though the Hot Mess wasn't quite as impressive but still enjoyable.

Visited Kumi Japanese Restaurant for lunch and had an overall enjoyable experience. While there are limited options for those who avoid shellfish, the staff provided excellent service and informed us about an off-menu roll without crab or shrimp. The roll itself was good, although the lemon slices became a bit overwhelming after a while. The citrus salad was enormous and perfect for sharing. It was delicious. The tuna and o-toro sushi were of good quality, though not the best I've ever had. Had some issues with the wasabi not mixing well with the soy sauce, which made it difficult to get the desired flavor on the sushi and rolls. Lunch guests are restricted to the lunch menu, so we were unable to order from the dinner menu or have dessert at lunch. We had to find dessert elsewhere. All in all, it was a positive experience and I would consider visiting again.

We ordered a variety of dishes at Kumi Japanese Restaurant and unfortunately, we weren't impressed with the two rolls and salmon entrees we received. The bill came out to $180, which we thought was a bit overpriced for the quality of food we received. We did experience a rude interaction with one server who grabbed the soy sauce without saying a word, which left a negative impression. However, our server Liza was friendly and provided good service throughout the meal.

My partner and I visited Kumi Japanese Restaurant in Las Vegas and had a fantastic experience. The appetizers were delicious and we couldn't resist ordering three of them. The rolls were also amazing. To top it off, the white chocolate tees leches at the end of the meal was absolutely perfect.

The food at Kumi Japanese Restaurant was delicious and fresh. The decor created a great atmosphere with a nice vibe. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. However, the prices were a bit high compared to other sushi places, causing me to rate it 4/5 overall.
