Visit WebsiteThe Beach Bar and Grill has all the ambience of a seaside watering hole, or maybe a poolside one. Casual eats is the theme here, with a side order of liquor and fun. The menu offers a wide selection of American fare. Appetizers include most of your favorites, such as guacamole, pizza logs, and chicken fingers and fries, certainly enough for an afternoon snack. If you’re hungrier, try a burger or hot dog, or a salad or sandwich. Finish up, or start, with a sundae or smoothie. Light fare in a light atmosphere, with a view of the pool, or the performance stage, or the sporting event to be seen on the TVs at the bar.

During my stay at Mandalay Bay, my family and I decided to explore the pool and beach area. As hunger set in, we initially ordered food at the bar of Beach Bar and Grill, unsure if children were allowed inside the café. Upon discovering that it was family-friendly, we asked the hostess for a table so our kids could join us. Once seated, my son ordered from the menu, and my daughter wanted to try the pizza logs. We also ordered several beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, spending an additional $200 on top of what we had spent at the bar. However, when we brought the food from the bar to our table, the experience took a negative turn. A hostess with short blonde hair approached us and sternly informed us, "Oh nah, to-go food ain't allowed at my table." Despite my apologies and explanation that it was our first time there, she remarked that we should leave but would let it slide just this once. I found it shocking that management allows staff to address customers in such a manner. In the interest of preserving my children's experience, I chose not to escalate the situation. For the amount spent, I expected a much higher standard of service—not one comparable to a fast-food establishment. Although the bartenders were very friendly, I am disappointed by this experience and wouldn't recommend dining here.

During our stay at Mandalay Bay, my family and I decided to explore the pool and beach area. When we got hungry, my partner and I visited Beach Bar and Grill to grab some food, initially unsure if children were allowed. We ordered at the bar but soon realized kids were indeed welcome, so we requested a table and our kids joined us. We ordered additional food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, spending an extra $200 at the table. However, when we brought the platters we'd previously ordered at the bar to our table, the hostess, a woman with short blonde hair, approached us aggressively and stated, "Oh nah, to-go food ain't allowed at my table." I apologized, explaining it was our first time there, and she responded by saying she should tell us to leave but would let it slide this time. The manner in which the staff spoke to us was shocking and completely inappropriate, especially given the amount we spent. To avoid ruining my children's experience, I refrained from escalating the situation, but the level of service we received was disappointing and not what one would expect, considering the cost. It left such a negative impression that I wouldn't recommend dining here. On a positive note, the bartenders were very nice.

The cabana by the lazy river is the go-to spot at this incredible beach/pool. The spinach and artichoke dip is delicious, as are the onion rings. A tip for your drinks: opt for the top shelf liquor, as the house option isn't the best. The Mandalay pool and beach is a must-visit every time I'm in Vegas... it's the perfect way to spend a day recharging.

Great spot to grab a meal after spending time at the beach/pool. The service was quick and the staff was friendly. The drinks were decent and the food was tasty, albeit on the smaller side. Prices were a bit high, but it's a nice atmosphere to relax in. You can dress casually, even in your bathing suit with a cover-up. I recommend trying the taquito trio, chicken tenders, beach club salad, and buffalo chicken dip. I'll definitely be returning! 🏖

The cabana by the lazy river at Beach Bar and Grill is the place to be for a fun beach/pool experience. The spinach and artichoke dip and onion rings are both delicious choices. Make sure to upgrade to a top shelf liquor in your drink, as the house liquor may not be up to par. Mandalay pool and beach is always a must-stop for me whenever I visit Vegas - a perfect spot to relax and recharge for the day.

Great location, but service was slow with multiple people needed to place an order. The chicken in the focaccia sandwich was overcooked and mediocre. The melted cheese on both the bread and in the sandwich seemed unnecessary and may have been used to mask the poor quality of the chicken. The guacamole was mushy and seemed to be mass-produced. Overall, Beach Bar and Grill is a typical hotel beach bar with room for improvement in the food preparation process.
