The cabana by the lazy river at Beach Bar and Grill is definitely the spot to be. The spinach and artichoke dip and onion rings are both delicious choices. Opt for a top shelf liquor in your drink for a better taste than the house liquor. The Mandalay pool and beach is a must-stop every time I visit Vegas, a perfect way to relax and recharge for the day.
Had a great time at Circus Circus in Vegas. It's a budget-friendly option that provides everything you need for a weekend in Sin City. It may not have the luxurious feel of hotels like the Venetian or The Bellagio, but it's perfect for those looking for a simple room with basic amenities. The hotel offers a food court with satisfying options for lunch, although I couldn't locate the Starbucks during my stay. The hotel desk is located at the end of the building past the casino. One unique feature is that they still use coins for their slot machines, giving it an old-school Vegas vibe. The pool is located across the street, and although I didn't have my swim trunks, I would have definitely taken a dip. The elevator can be a bit rickety, but it gets the job done. Overall, had a really positive experience and would stay here again in the future.
It's been a while since my last stay at Gold Coast and I was not very satisfied with my recent visit. The room with double queen beds felt too small and the bathroom was also cramped. The shower upgrade was nice and the beds were comfortable. However, the TV kept turning off after only 5-10 minutes and the dark carpet made the room feel dirty. A short stay is okay, but an upgrade is definitely needed.
