The Gold Coast Hotel and Casino is located just one mile west of the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, and only a half-mile from great dining in Chinatown.
With a host of amenities, this is a place where tourists and locals can mingle to enjoy a good time together. The hotel offers over 700 rooms, most of which have been recently renovated, and a host of activities to enhance your vacation. Have a snack at Subway or Jaca Cefas Coffee or the snack bar located in the bowling alley. That’s right, I said bowling alley! Or munch away while watching a game at the Red Zone sports bar. Still hungry? Grab a steak at the Cornerstone Steakhouse, then work it all off at the fitness center. The Gold Coast strives to present you with a boutique hotel experience just a short distance from the action of the Strip But there is plenty of action here, too, with a state-of-the-art casino and some great entertainment, so you may never need, or want, to leave.

The Gold Coast in Las Vegas is conveniently situated just a 10-minute drive from the city center. Like most hotels in the area, it features a large casino with countless opportunities for entertainment. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet, though it could have benefited from a bit more lighting. This wasn't much of an issue, however, as it was primarily used for sleeping. Room service is provided every other day, which is satisfactory. Dining options include several restaurants, with some offering round-the-clock service.

I've been attending the Super Bowl Party at the Gold Coast with friends for the past 20 years, and we've had some fantastic times. Unfortunately, they don't host the party anymore. With prices at $50 for 6 beers and $45 for 3 dozen wings, it's just not worth it. It feels like we've gone from being valued to being overlooked. It's a shame. For the same cost as three 6-packs, we can find an all-inclusive party elsewhere, with plenty of options available. It seems loyalty doesn't hold the same weight it used to.

The Gold Coast in Las Vegas has its pros and cons. There's quite a bit of smoke, which could be a concern, especially for those sensitive to it. However, the hotel staff is friendly, and the rooms are clean and spacious. It's an older establishment, lacking a vent in the bathroom and having no sliding door or curtain for the shower. On the plus side, the pricing is reasonable, and it's conveniently located near several attractions, including a walk to Chinatown and quick rides to the Strip. The dim sum restaurant downstairs is a nice spot for larger groups, and while Fridays tend to be quieter, the happy hour drinks are worth a try. For travelers on a budget who aren't too particular, it's an option, but those with respiratory issues might want to consider other accommodations due to the smoke.

The Gold Coast in Las Vegas is truly a hidden gem. I took advantage of a fantastic deal during their cyber sale, and the value was unbeatable. The recently refurbished rooms were impressive, and the beds felt like sleeping on a cloud. Dining at TGI Fridays was a pleasant surprise, with most menu items priced under $25. They even offered a complimentary breakfast for the next morning, which was unexpected. Although I'm not particularly into bingo, the spacious and clean bingo hall offered a smoke-free experience and included two complimentary beverages. I enjoyed the 9 pm, 11 pm, and 7 pm sessions. The entire staff was friendly, polite, and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. On Friday night, the lounge hosted a karaoke competition that was wonderfully energetic and uplifting. I only wish my stay had been longer, but I'll definitely be back soon.

We had a short stay at Gold Coast, but our experience was absolutely wonderful. The hotel staff were truly amazing. We interacted with two different receptionists who were both beyond friendly, helpful, and professional. Our room was comfortable and clean. Lastly, and most importantly, a treasured piece of clothing was left behind, and they shipped it back! THANK YOU Gold Coast staff, I will forever sing your praises.

The room was really nice and provided a much-needed escape from the heat, especially when the air conditioner broke. However, we encountered an issue with being double charged for resort fees. Despite being assured over the phone that there wouldn't be any due to our card level and local status, the charges were still applied. They promised to reverse the charges and issue a refund, but this couldn't be handled at the counter. Instead, I was instructed to call. Despite calling every day, I keep getting the runaround.
