Sam's Town Hotel & Gambling Hall

Attractive as it may seem, this casino and hotel seem designed to empty your wallet rather than fill it. Despite multiple visits, the experiences have consistently been disappointing. It's puzzling how such a well-appointed establishment can feel so unwelcoming. The one highlight is undoubtedly the occasional waterfall show, along with the impressive hotel view from the inside. If those features appeal to you, wonderful, but I generally choose to spend my time elsewhere.

I really appreciate the convenient, safe, and covered free parking, complete with a security guard to prevent any potential car vandalism. The interior is charming, featuring a waterfall and an atrium garden with impressive 25-foot-tall trees. Checking in is a breeze, thanks to the efficient and friendly staff. There's rarely more than a couple of people in line at the reception desk. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, with heavy curtains that do an excellent job of blocking out light for a restful sleep. The beds come with outstanding mattresses and pillows. The hotel offers a good variety of dining options, and the room rates are excellent. I’ve stayed here multiple times and look forward to returning.

Sam's Town in Las Vegas offers free parking and a variety of attractions. With plenty of food options, a cinema, bowling center, and the Mystic Falls attraction, there is something for everyone to enjoy. The local small business market on Saturdays and Sundays adds to the charm of this place. Whether you're looking for a fun afternoon activity or a romantic date night spot, Sam's Town is a great choice.

The rooms at Sam's Town are very nice and clean, with comfortable beds. The property is located off the strip, which I prefer. There is a lot to do, see, and eat here. The staff were welcoming and attentive. I did have a little trouble finding my way from the parking lot to the hotel, but as long as you follow the signs for the casino, you'll find the hotel entrance. The hotel itself is older, like many in Vegas, but I would definitely stay here again.

We visited Las Vegas for some relaxation and decided to check out Sam’s Town as a tribute to a family member who had fond memories of this place from the 70s. We enjoyed playing the poker machines and even tried a bit of roulette to place bets for friends and family. The center atrium is truly stunning; it makes you feel like you're in a completely different setting, far from the typical casino atmosphere. Our visit during the day was peaceful and laid-back, a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the strip. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and plan to return on future trips. Sam's Town in Las Vegas is a really fun place to stay. I enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the beautiful atrium. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. The view of the mountains was breathtaking. During my visit, there was a bingo tournament and a small craft fair happening, which added to the charm of the place. I met some really nice people while I was there. If you're looking for a hotel and casino with a nostalgic pioneer vibe, affordable dining options, and a variety of games, this is the place for you. ♡

Sam's Town in Las Vegas is a great place to stay. There are plenty of activities for both adults and families to enjoy. While more restaurant options would be appreciated, the food available was delicious. Our exterior facing room had spot lights shining into the window at night, but the noise level was minimal and we rarely heard other guests. The service we received was excellent. I definitely plan on returning in the future.

I have visited Sam's Town twice and had a great time both visits. They offer a wide selection of slot machines and table games. I dined at the Angry Butcher and enjoyed my meal. They also have a Dunkin' Donuts that stays open until 10 PM, which is convenient in Las Vegas. There is ample free parking available on site. I highly recommend signing up for Boyd Rewards to take advantage of monthly door prizes. The Mystic Falls waterfall is a must-see and truly impressive.

The rooms at Sam's Town are fantastic. The indoor park ambience is a nice touch. The overall cleanliness and customer service at the cage are excellent. There is always a helpful brunette lady working on the far left side.

Sam's Town in Las Vegas has convenient free parking and lots of options for entertainment in the surrounding area if you have a car. While the hotel could use some updates, the Mystic Falls display is a nice touch, with two shows nightly at 8pm and 10pm. The rooms are a decent size and the casino is less crowded than those on the strip.

Returning to Sam's Town for a second visit was just as enjoyable as our first. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and spacious, and despite not being able to book a king room, we were delighted with the stunning view we received. The atrium was a highlight for me with its beautiful trees, soothing sound of water, twinkling lights, and entertaining show. The atmosphere catered to an older, more tranquil crowd but also welcomed families. With a diverse selection of gaming options, entertainment, and dining choices, Sam's Town offered a well-rounded experience at a great value. Overall, it was a fantastic stay.

This hotel is in an older part of town but everything was very well kept. The staff was very friendly and happy to help with anything we needed. We love to check out Fremont Street when we’re in Vegas and it’s a short drive away as is the strip. We had an oversized vehicle and they were quite accommodating. There are many dining options inside and a Walmart across the street if you forgot anything on your trip. The view from our room looked down on the inside atrium which was beautiful! In addition to dining and gambling there is also a bowling alley on the property! We had a great stay!!

First time visitors. Didn't stay but Really enjoyed there indoor Christmas light, water show! Also played a game of bowling! More family friendly with kid options. Beautiful holiday decor! Had a great visit!

This was the first time we've stayed at Sam's Town. I saw this place when we first stayed at East Side Cannery which is now closed. Sam's Town had the best prices in Vegas for the weekend. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room, it wasn't all beat up, it was actually a pretty nice room. Large newer LG tv for those who care. Food options are okay, the bowling alley was very fun and employees were friendly. The front desk lady who helped us upon first getting here was excellent. Wish I remembered her name. I'd recommend this place on the cheap and if you want to avoid the strip traffic.

Nice rooms and atmosphere. A lot to do there. Gaming seems to be better than most. I had a lot more play on my money. Very friendly staff.

Love going to the movies there

I've never actually stayed here, but we always make it a point to visit Sam's Town when we are in Vegas. Unlike the strip casinos, Sam's Town has bingo and a few other slots that you can't find anywhere else. The table game minimums are also cheaper. Sam's Town also has a good selection of restaurants and a really fun atmosphere. We always enjoy our time here.

I almost always win when I play at Sam's Town. When I do, I immediately cash out so I don't become too invested. I don't spend a lot and my goal isn't to make a big payout; I'm just there to have fun. The staff at Sam's Town is great, providing friendly and fast service.
