What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

Located conveniently inside the Grand Hotel and Casino, Freedom Beat is simply fantastic. The portions are huge, so be sure to arrive with a big appetite or plan to share. The Philly Cheese steak is particularly delicious, as are the other sandwiches. The loaded Fries are outstanding and incredibly satisfying. Prepare to leave Freedom Beat feeling full and satisfied - you definitely won't go hungry here. The beer selection is fairly good, with some fancy drinks also available to enjoy.

What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

I recently had the opportunity to dine at the hotel restaurant, and breakfast was a definite highlight of my visit. While it was a bit more expensive than the nearby Denny's, the overall experience and quality definitely justified the cost. I started off my mornings with French toast paired with bacon, which was absolutely delicious. Throughout the rest of my stay, I tried a different omelette each day, and they were consistently large, fluffy, and flavorful. The portions were generous, and the bacon, whether turkey or regular, was always perfectly crisp. I must give a shoutout to Norma, who was my server during my time there. Her exceptional service truly enhanced my morning dining experience. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure my iced tea was always topped up. She even thoughtfully provided me with a to-go cup without me having to ask. Even if you're not a guest at the Grand, I highly recommend stopping by Freedom Beat for breakfast. And if you happen to have Norma as your server, please pass along my compliments.

What I Liked Most

What I Disliked

I recently dined at Freedom Beat during my stay at the Downtown Grand hotel. The service was top-notch, with attentive staff who were eager to please. The waitress did seem slightly puzzled when I initially ordered the chicken noodle soup but quickly recovered when I decided to also order a sandwich. I must say, the pot roast sandwich was truly exceptional. The flavors were rich and satisfying, making it a dish I would definitely order again. As for the chicken noodle soup, it was a bit lacking in flavor. While I appreciated the presence of onions and celery, I felt that the broth could use a bit more depth. Overall, my experience at Freedom Beat was a positive one, with the standout item being the delicious pot roast sandwich. I would recommend giving it a try during your visit.
