Located inside Mandalay Bay, 1923 Prohibition Bar can be a bit tricky to find if you're not familiar with the area. The security staff refers to it simply as the Prohibition Bar, so don't hesitate to use the full name when asking for directions. Once inside, we had a great time. The pianist was both talented and engaging, and we thoroughly enjoyed our drinks - the LA LA Land and Mickey's Mule. Our server was attentive and personable, contributing to the overall relaxed atmosphere of the bar. For a unique and enjoyable experience, we highly recommend a visit to 1923 Prohibition Bar.
Coronado Cafe at the South Point Hotel/Casino offers delicious food at affordable prices. The orange chicken with fried rice and the chicken caesar wrap with fries were both excellent choices. The quality of the food is top-notch. A downside is that you cannot order takeout, but you can request a to-go box if you don't finish your meal while dining in.
Metro Pizza at Ellis Island in Las Vegas serves delicious NY style pizza. While it may not be the absolute best, it definitely earns an 8/10 rating. Next time, I plan on getting an entire pizza made fresh to see if that bumps up the score even more. The prices are fantastic, with a slice of cheese pizza costing only $3.50. I will definitely return and would recommend this place to others.
Watched Dune at Regal Cinemas in IMAX at Sunset Station Hotel. Disappointed to find a noticeable tear in the screen, as others have also pointed out in previous reviews. Surprised that the issue hasn't been addressed or acknowledged by the theater. There was no indication of the tear or any discount offered on ticket prices. Selling IMAX tickets with a damaged screen seems careless. Additionally, the lack of reclining seats for a $25 ticket price was disappointing. Attached is a photo for reference.
The Pool at Tropicana in Las Vegas is a super chill spot that welcomes non-hotel guests. It was easy to find a chair on a hot Friday and there were plenty of birds singing all day. The music was enjoyable, catering to a light crowd. While it is family friendly, the pool area was mostly adults. Bathrooms are available for changing and a towel is provided with admission. Iris was very pleasant and friendly during my visit on 3/25/22! ❤️
Whiskey Licker Up has a unique rotating bar that adds to the fantastic atmosphere of the place. The food is top tier, especially the pizza which was the best I've had in a long time. The cousins burger was also amazing. I tried a berry cider and it was absolutely flavorful. Our server was friendly and had a great personality. We will definitely be returning to Whiskey Licker Up.
Located inside the Grand Hotel and Casino, Freedom Beat is a fantastic dining option. The portions are large so make sure to come with a big appetite or plan to share! The Philly Cheese steak and other sandwiches are delicious, and the loaded fries are a standout dish. You definitely won't leave hungry after dining at Freedom Beat. They also offer a good selection of beers and other specialty drinks.
Troy Liquor Bar in Las Vegas is a dance bar that doesn't have a cover charge, which is a plus. However, some may find the music to be a bit dated and not very exciting. The crowd tends to be on the older side, so if you're looking for a college-aged crowd, you may want to look elsewhere.
