After transitioning to a vegetarian diet, my meals were often lacking excitement. However, the vegan "steak" tacos at Hussong's Cantina in Las Vegas were a delightful surprise. They nailed both the texture and spice, making it one of the most enjoyable dishes I've had since making the switch. The service was prompt and delivered with a friendly attitude. I strongly suggest this place for anyone who follows a vegetarian or vegan diet. Plus, the salsas were packed with flavor.

Had an outstanding lunch at Hussong's Cantina! The 'choose 3' combo is definitely a top pick, offering a great way to try some of the restaurant's finest dishes. The food was fantastic, and the margaritas were equally impressive. Plenty of substantial vegan options are available too. The menu includes an interesting story about the history of margaritas and the restaurant itself. It’s a spot where you can’t go wrong—wonderful atmosphere, friendly service, and a wide array of delicious food and drinks.

5/5 Stars - A Fun and Flavorful Dining Experience at Hussong's Mexican Cantina Dining at Hussong's Mexican Cantina in Mandalay Place was an unforgettable adventure. From the moment we entered, the lively atmosphere set the stage for a fantastic meal. The Ordering Process: A Fun Twist The standout feature was the unique ordering process, where our server, dressed in a luchador-inspired outfit, took our orders in a hilarious Macho Man voice. This entertaining approach even included a 10% discount, adding a clever touch to the overall playful vibe of the restaurant. The Food: Robust and Zesty Flavors Hussong's delivered on robust and zesty flavors, particularly with their sauces and dishes. However, the veggie burrito was a bit of a disappointment. Despite great flavors, the burrito lacked rice, beans, guacamole, and vegetables, and surprisingly contained potatoes, giving it a meat-centric feel. The Meat Lovers' Paradise Hussong's clearly excels in meats, and those in our group loved their steak and chicken dishes. Portions were generous, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. Meat lovers will find Hussong's to be a paradise. The Verdict: Overall, Hussong's Mexican Cantina at Mandalay Place comes highly recommended for its fun and flavorful dining experience. While the veggie burrito left something to be desired, the atmosphere and service compensated for it. For a unique and entertaining dining outing, Hussong's is the place to visit. Just note that veggie options might not be the strongest, so consider ordering the fajitas instead. Rating Breakdown: - Food: 4/5 (would have been 5/5 if the veggie burrito was better) - Service: 5/5 - Atmosphere: 5/5 - Value: 4/5 - Overall Experience: 5/5 Recommendation: For a fun and flavorful dining venture, Hussong's Mexican Cantina in Mandalay Place is the perfect choice. Opt for the fajitas or a meat-centric dish, and immerse yourself in the playful spirit of the restaurant. Don't forget to order in a Macho Man voice for that extra 10% discount!

This was my first dining stop in Vegas, and it set a high bar! The bartender, Jessica, was delightful and very attentive. Starting off with chips and salsa was a great choice – make sure to request the spicy salsa if that's your preference. The tacos were excellent, and the taquitos had the perfect crunch. Overall, the experience, food, and service were all top-notch.

This has been the best dining experience I’ve had in Vegas for quite some time. The atmosphere isn’t over the top, but offers a nice selection of items. The service at the bar top was exceptional, thanks to Rachel who provided outstanding service to all the guests. The large selection of vegan food options drew me in, and the vegan fish tacos did not disappoint. Overall, it was a delightful dinner with remarkable service. Thanks again, Rachel. I’ll definitely ask for you next time!
