During our stay at the Plaza, I asked the front desk for breakfast/brunch recommendations and they suggested Hash House A Go Go. We were pleased with our meals overall, with great portion sizes (we could have easily shared one meal) and delicious biscuits. I would recommend Hash House A Go Go, especially for families looking to save money for other activities during their Las Vegas vacation.
Eureka in Las Vegas is amazing. The food is exciting, fresh, and delicious, with a huge selection of drinks. It would definitely be one of my favorite hangout spots if I lived nearby. The fig burger was incredible, the mac and cheese balls had the perfect mix of crispy outside and gooey inside, and the Brussels sprouts were glazed in something addictively tasty.
In my opinion, places like 4949 Lounge can be a waste of time and money. The drinks are overpriced and although the atmosphere is nice, it's easy to get caught up and end up losing money, especially with the expensive drinks and the ratio of girls to guys. Often, the girls just want a drink from you and then want you to leave. It's best to stick to a regular bar and avoid this place altogether.
Hussong's Cantina in Las Vegas offers endless tortilla chips and salsa, which is always a hit. Despite being part of a larger party, the attentive service provided quick refills and took our order with ease. The food was satisfying and the atmosphere was lively. This spot is ideal for groups or anyone in the mood for Westernized Mexican cuisine. We opted for the mix and match plate, a sampler of their signature dishes, which was flavorful and generous enough to share between two people. Located in the indoor mall area of the hotel and casino, it may be a bit challenging to locate if you're in a rush due to the size of the complex. Overall, Hussong's Cantina is a solid dining choice to consider while in Vegas.
