I recently dined at BRERA osteria in Las Vegas and was highly impressed by their seriously good Italian food that was fresh and different. Despite not having a reservation, our group of four was seated promptly by the friendly staff in the bustling restaurant. The seating was cozy, adding to the ambiance of the place. I ordered the veal stuffed pasta with mushrooms and it was absolutely delicious! The dish was perfectly seasoned and executed, not needing any additional seasoning or sauce. For dessert, I opted for two scoops of sorbet/gelato - mango sorbet and pistachio gelato - both of which were amazing and I would order again in a heartbeat. The service staff was attentive, hospitable, and very friendly throughout the meal. Overall, I had a great dining experience at BRERA osteria and would highly recommend it to others looking for delicious Italian cuisine.
We didn't stay at the hotel, but we dined at the Village Pub and Cafe twice during our visit to Ellis Island in Las Vegas. The first time, we tried the Prime Rib and were impressed by its delicious flavor. The green beans had a bit too much garlic, but the steak was superb. We had watched a YouTube video before our trip, and we were pleased to find that the food met our expectations. On our second visit, we ordered the fish and chips, and while they didn't quite compare to the steak, they were still very good. Coming from Atlantic Canada, we consider ourselves experts on fish and chips, so trust us when we say they were enjoyable. We also tried their craft beer, which we found to be very good. We're planning to return again before we leave.
Great spot to stop by after catching a show at the Mirage. The Lobby Bar is conveniently located and perfect for grabbing a strong drink. The old fashioned here is packed with plenty of liquor to satisfy your taste buds.
The service at Yellowtail Japanese Restaurant & Bar left something to be desired during our visit. I ordered tempura prawns, but was brought sushi rolls instead. When I tried to explain the mistake, the waitress became argumentative and refused to remove the rolls from our bill. However, the rest of the food we ordered was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. The chef deserves compliments for their skills. While we enjoyed the ambiance of sitting by the fountain, we were disappointed by the subpar service we received. Despite the tasty food, the overall experience was just okay.
Recently had dinner at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar in Las Vegas with no reservation on a weeknight. We were promptly seated and ordered a variety of dishes including salads, chicken and waffles, succotash, and fingerling potatoes. The salads were fresh and satisfying, while the chicken and waffles were a standout dish with crispy yet tender chicken and flavorful bourbon maple syrup. The waffles were perfectly cooked, although we wished we could have ordered an extra one. The sides of fingerling potatoes and field peas were delicious and left us eager to try more. The interior was warmly decorated with a southern theme and our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Overall, a great dining experience that left us full and happy.
